ah seems to be a hicup with the update. well the 1.94 seems to be okay for now. submitted a ticket and got a good response within 10 minutes. not going to pester him here or via support tickets as hes got a fix to sort out.

BTW: the software is very good and i am glad i took the plunge!

I've had some random minor issues with 2.0, but overall, it works really well for me. I do a lot of follow/unfollow, and wait and reply.

Very happy with this software.
 
No, no proxies Never had to use them before as I only have 10 accounts that I work with. I dunno if this matters about sending web requests but Im only doing one task at a time no multithread, following new users between 5-10 seconds and waiting 5-10 min between each task.

EDIT: Just downloaded the new update and saw that this was fixed in this update but I am still having the exact same problem, operation timeout then freezes up.

Im currently working on this now. Are you using proxies?

This normally happens when you are sending many web requests to twitter using only 1 IP at small time interval. I believe its one of their new security measures. We can work this out by adding delays between page requests.

We will release the modifications today.

Higher delays between each person I follow which Is between 5-10 seconds? Or higher delays between switching accounts, which cant be the problem because I cant even get more than 30 followed on my first account when I first start up the program.

Since the suggestion box is open . . . is there a way to configure the multithread Follow module so that all accounts do not start adding friends from page 01 of a given list of followers? If 500 accounts being adding the same friends repeatedly, I think it flags the accounts as running in a bot.

If there were a way when setting the URL to append random, successive page numbers so that each account starts on a different page when adding followers this wouldn't be a problem.

Using Twitter account twitter - dot - com/mtvmoviesblog as an example, when all accounts are loaded and set to that URL, each account starts adding followers @ twitter - dot - com/mtvmoviesblog/followers, with each account adding identical followers. Fix: If when setting the root URL, TA assigned account #2 to begin on page 02 of followers, twitter - dot - com/mtvmoviesblog/followers?page=1347592717143387721, and account #3 to start adding on page 04,
twitter - dot - com/mtvmoviesblog/followers?page=1347576410320131579, etc.

That could be improved upon by randomly assigning subsequent pages to the list of TA accounts, so that they are not sequentially assigned to each account. That randomization would make detection of the bot less likely.

As it is now, I cannot see how TA v2.0 would not be flagged as a bot when using the multithread follow module.

The explorer is not there but in Tweet Poster module I added tab named Quick Post, you can use it to post tweet using the selected account. And for the urls, in Follow\Unfollow Module there is a new checkbox "Track url where it is currently working on." If this is enabled, the url where it is working on will be automatically entered in the Start Url column, which you can simply save and load later so it can start in the url where it previously stopped.

hey checkmate isn't that a quick way to tell twitter to ban your accounts?

do you use some free proxies for the reply generator and wait and reply?

No? Look at Facebook. As many here know, followers of Facebook fan pages and groups were once easy to poach. Then restrictions were imposed on the number of network friends viewable to third parties. Restrictions have been further enhanced to restrict messaging and adding friends. In some instances, adding friends is restricted by affinity; that is, one can no longer randomly add strangers in volume. There must be a common friend or network affiliation.

@Erroronline - You have one, if not 'the,' best Twitter soft on the market. Just trying to be forward thinking in order to keep it that way. :)

Thanks a lot. I really do appreciate the suggestion and Im always open to new ideas and learn things from others perspectives.

Im just curious, may I know why you need 500 users to follow the same people at the same time? And I think they cant just ban users on that pattern especially if the requests are coming from different IPs because its natural for people to follow the followers of some people they like because of the similarities in interests, cultures or other kind of stuffs.

Or do you just need to follow all the followers of certain account using multiple accounts and you want to eliminate the duplicates across accounts?

If thats the case, I think a feature to set or merge the followed list of the accounts will be a better solution.

Im not just comfortable with the accounts jumping and browsing between pages, its just very unnatural and easy to trace as Ive been analyzing twitters website behavior for long time, every cookie values they created between pages, headers, parameters etc.

I am trying to gather names by using the mention Followers tab but it keeps saying done but gathers no names?
 
Any idea why Im still gettin an operation timeout when trying to follow people and it locks up? So far ive found this new update useless and unusable for following, how can I go back to the previous version?
 
One suggestion that may help this:

Instead of applying one url for all accounts to follow, allow users to load a file of urls to follow and then randomly assign them down the list. That way, different accounts will follow different users.

I am building up a few hundred accounts but I do not do then all at once because if I did, all of the accounts would be following the same folks.
