Over the past month, AlterCPA Red tracker has picked up a few fun new features.
Today we want to share one of them — and honestly, the most important and coolest one so far: Priority Routing.

The idea is simple. You build a flow with multiple paths for different scenarios, and then tell the system which paths should receive traffic first.

For example:
You set up 5 paths — 2 with high priority and 3 with normal priority. As long as traffic can be sent to a path from the highest-priority pool, clicks will go there first.

So when does traffic not go to the highest priority? There are two cases:

1. Display order (sequence logic)
A user hits your flow for the first time → they’re sent to the highest-priority path.
If they come back again, the system sends them to the next path in the hierarchy.
And so on, until all paths are used.

2. Caps are reached
Pretty straightforward. Once caps on the highest priority paths are filled, traffic automatically spills over to the next priority level.

How many priority levels are there?
Seven. Use as many as you need.

How is a path chosen within the same priority level?
Either simple random distribution or a multi-armed bandit algorithm. In other words — the usual, nothing exotic.

Who is this for?
Anyone building funnels that are more complex than a basic redirect or a simple split test. Priority routing gives you much better traffic control, helps squeeze more conversions out of your leads, and makes cap filling clean and predictable
