Yeah the ghosting is really bad service from OP.
Here's what happened on my end:
1. Order placed on 16th April for EXPEDIATED delivery
2. I Pm-ed him almost daily to ask him if the instructions were clear. He replied that the instructions were clear and that he will get the content out by the timeline
3. Delays. Delays. Delays.
4. 25th April, OP Pm-ed me and said that I gave him too vague instructions for him to write (??? what ???) and he made a full refund along with the partially completed work.
What frustrates me was that if the instructions weren't clear in the first place, he could have clarified anytime before 25th April.
Overall, the partially completed work was quite decent, actually.
A pity, this would have been a solid content writing BST if the service was better.

Also struggling with this at the moment. I understand that Corona is making delivery difficult, however I've yet to receive any of my 20k order (only tasked 16k) from last month. Queried this and was assured that it's nearly done and waiting in outbox. This was nearly a week ago now.
The content quality is outstanding which makes this all the harder to write. I've let my subscription rebill for this month but if you're struggling to deliver please refund this month and we can pick it back up when you're back up to full speed?

Hi all,
I believe it's far past due time for an official response to the ongoing string of concerns being shared in this thread.
This response is aimed both at our current clients as well as any prospective clients wondering about the situation.
In April I sent out an email to let our clients know that we would not be taking on any new clients' orders in the near future to accommodate for he needs of our existing clients. In this email I reassured everyone that we would be at a slightly reduced operating capacity that would quickly return back to normal operating levels. At the time, I was genuinely certain that we would be able to keep up with our plans and workload. And at first, everything went smooth.
However, I was wrong. Over the last few weeks we had a large portion of our core team of writers and editors go AWOL and take leaves of absence for various reasons, a string of infuriating connection issues with the platform and services we use on a daily basis to do our work, and with this, a total collapse of the internal structure, operating flow and management.
This string of delays and lack of communication created severe hold-backs, panic, confusion and frustration on the part of our clients. This is something that I deeply regret and something that I genuinely apologize for. As I am a business owner myself, I understand full-well just how crucial timely work and reliable consistency is for your livelihood. And knowing that we have dozens of clients who's orders have been severely delayed is something that keeps me up at night, every night.
However, at the tail end of last week, I was able to regroup the team. And as of today, all of our connection issues have been solved (and hopefully set in stone) for the coming future.
So, what is the status right now?
We currently have an outbound backlog of 43K words that need to go through a final look-over and be delivered. In addition to this, we have 20K words that need to be written and delivered on overdue orders.
What is the timeframe on us being able to catch up?
All orders pending review & delivery will be delivered by the end of the working week (Friday). All orders that are currently being written will also coincide with these delivery timeframes and will be sent over on Friday, with two specific orders being penmarked for a Saturday delivery.
What is being done to avoid future delays and incorporate recent feedback/learning experiences?
Over the last two weeks, I have worked hard to expand our team of writers and editors alongside restructuring the order and management process to make sure that we are not and will not be short on hands going forward. In addition to this, we have also brought on two account managers who will be the dedicated points of contact for all clients assigned to them. These account managers will be available via Skype, Email & Support Panel between 8AM and 7PM Pacific Time.
To expedite the process, and provide more clarity on the status of your order, we will have two additional checkpoints when an order is made.
Firstly, your order will be accepted or otherwise addressed within 3 hours during our business day. In addition to this, once an order is accepted, we will immediately assign it to a team member and both their writing timeframe and the editorial timeframe required will automatically be scheduled into the calendars of the team members responsible. We will then provide you with a booked delivery date on your order on the same business day as it is accepted by us. If any delays arise for any given reason, this will be communicated to you at least 2 days prior to the booked delivery date to allow you to adjust on your end.
In addition to the above, I have also provided a 35% account credit on all currently outstanding orders. I understand that this in no way makes up for the delays or inconsistent communication that many of our clients have experienced in recent times. However, I definitely want to stress that here at Endgame - we sincerely appreciate each and every one of our clients. We genuinely value your business, and we will do what it takes to bring the service up to the standards we're so well known for again. With that, I ask for a final bit of patience on the side of all clients awaiting order delivery as we get the orders out the door to each and every client throughout this working week.

Hi hippo, I certainly understand your frustration, and apologize for the fact that the cancellation of your order was communicated fairly late. However I'd like to comment on a few of the points made to provide further context and clarify the situation at hand.
1. I had communicated with you on your order to let you know about the status and progress, so I don't think that "ghosting" applies here in any way.
2. I spoke with you on the 23rd of April, rather than the 25th.
3. The reason we cancelled and refunded your order in full was not because of unclear instructions but because the products you had requested detailed in-depth copywriting for had next to no available information in English beyond a list of ingredients that they contained and a 2-3 page website translated from Japanese that didn't provide any in-depth information on most the products. Unfortunately, this was not something we realized while reviewing the requirements, until further into the order when we exhausted our resources trying to find any additional information.
With that said, I'd again like to note that I appreciate your feedback and completely empathize with your frustration - the feedback is largely valid and is not left unheard as we are working to bring things back on track.
Siddharth, I'm really very sorry about the lack of communication on our part. We had cancelled and refunded the order earlier as the writer assigned had gone AWOL and I'm working day in and day out with the editorial team to take care of all of the orders that are done and awaiting final review & delivery. I only regained access to the platform we use earlier due to a technical incident. The last few weeks were a mess of craziness and insanity in part due to the COVID situation and in part due to the havoc of trying to resolve multiple technical incidents while getting everything lined up to get our backlog cleared.
We are definitely struggling with the giant outbound backlog right now, but we're set to complete everything in our outbox this working week. I'm going to make sure that we can expedite some of the upcoming work to get it back to you quicker for the new batch. I genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, appreciate your patience and continued business, and I sincerely apologize for the extreme delays.
With all of this being said, I would like to note that we are still not accepting any new clients' work for the time being. I hope to be able to open the service back up to new clients at the end of this month. However, before we do that - I will make sure that we are consistently getting work out to clients on-schedule, as I would like our service to be as well known for it's timeliness as it is for the quality of our writing.

It pains me to write this, but even after that lengthy update above, I still haven’t heard back from you Nik. It’s been a week since the supposed new delivery date of last Friday, May 8th.
I ordered 2 articles on April 22nd, and 1 article on April 26th. All of them were Expedited orders with 2 business day delivery. It is now May 15th and still haven’t seen a sign of the articles.
Sucks cause your content is super awesome, but this is unacceptable by any standards. Especially since you haven’t replied to communications or provided a single update. Not a cool move to ghost one of your good clients.
Hope you learn from this mistake and improve on it for your future! This not the first time this has happened (check the entire thread). I will gladly accept a refund on the orders if you haven’t worked on them yet, just to take some of the workload off.

I'm glad to say that we've managed to close out all of the previous overdue orders and have been running smooth for the last little while. I sincerely appreciate everyone's patience with the issues that we faced in the later half of April and first half of May. This update was delayed as i wanted to give our team a bit of time to settle in and make sure that everything is running well, so that we never have to face any significant delays in the future.
With that said, I'm also glad to report that we've expanded our team significantly and with a new management structure in place we've been able to get orders and communication flowing smoother than ever. And as such, we are ready to take on new work and reopen the doors to our service, which is now better than ever!
