• I'm already on the 1st page of google with one keyword but I want to be higher (currently 7th and wanna be in top 3) with that same keyword. Is it possible with the help of your non-targeted traffic it will get higher if they click off quick as soon as they realise it's not what they're after? (obviously worried that it could slip down the page)
• Using the extra traffic you provide can I target a different keyword? There is a keyword I REALLY would prefer to use but has loads of competition, (which is why I've not targeted that keyword yet) - Could I do this by creating a new page relevant to that keyword with the same keyword in the url? Or do I have to use the same keyword I've already chosen for my homepage (the one I'm already getting PR7 with)?

I apologise if this is a really dumbass question but I'm still reletaively new to the marketing side of things.

2. If the new keyword is relevant to your homepage it will be better to use your homepage as landing page and if its not so relevant you can create a new page and promote the new page. You can boost the value of this new page by placing a link to this page from your homepage.
