John , that happened to me too , i had the demo , its a standalone program , when you check with your browser on whatsmy ip .commmm
it woudl show up the adjusted ip but strabgley the emails from posts would show router IP ... I gave up also as i could not get it to provide me with any UK ips , but it was the demo only

For those waiting to get this to work with Hide My Ip, now it works... 2 things MUST be applied:
- in gumtree poster: Options->'Use global connection/proxy settings' CHECKED
- in HideMyIp: Advanced Options->'Enable Legacy Mode' CHECKED

I was going to suggest that too, that would be a great addition.

I've been having problems with it posting images... it just doesn't seem to want to 80% of the time.

I shall await the new version, the software really does have a proper professional feel to it.

Any further suggestions for UK ips appeciated

I have tried loads of companies now , all seem to ghost ads ..the only IP i currently have that does not ghost ads is my own router IP , and i dont want to use that too much as its my test IP , to troubleshoot if its the email addresses thats been banned or IPs ..it always seems to come to IPS ..... I purchased recently IPs from laminia , tested them fine last week with just test posts , been busy ever since , came back tonight , and IPS are causing automatic ghosting ..sheesh , they aint lasted long !

If anybody has a relaible solution it would be appreciated , dont mind paying the cash for Ips as long as it WORKS , softwares great but i think its possible ? Uk ips are geting hammered and banned by gumtree ..im using brand new freshly made email addresses to test , new text in ads , no urls , every time so theres no cross infection , not that i think gumtrees system is that sophisticated ! but just in case !!! and every time it comes back to IPS ...over last month i must have tested 20 ips from differrent sources and if they work at all its only for a few days ...its driving me crazzzy !

Im in the UK so i just got cheap unlimited dialup internet, so now i just dialup - upload to gumtree - then disconnect, whala done

Is there any way to get this program to activate the postings with hotmail. It asks me for manual verification.

Only gmail and yahoo are supported.

Same for me on the images, I assumed that it was my 3g usb dongle munging the html code on gumtree. Are you getting the images problem on regular connections and proxies?

The image upload problem occurs on some proxies, also we've been notified this happens when using HideMyIp. Unfortunately, we still don't know how(if) this can be solved.

Im not using proxes... just dialup and for the first day i used the program the image upload worked ok but then stopped working. This is a problem, image upload is guaranteed to help conversions and i have been waiting to do another posting session until the image problem was fixed... is there nothing you can do

Can I request hotmail support for automatic activation in the next update. I cant find any good supplier of gmails anymore.

Still looking for a proxy solution for images if anyone has any solutions please pm me.

You can use hotmail, just forward hotmail to gmail and in email field put:

[email protected] [email protected]:password
