I'm sorry if I come off as full of myself; that's really not the point. I don't understand what I'm saying or not saying that conveys that, but I tried to make it clear that I'm imperfect, too.

We are in the situation we are in as a country because 99% of the population is sheep/drones that believe what the T.V. tells them. Going to be interesting times ahead.

As for the OP's post I am in total agreement. It's almost as if the general populace is in a trance most of the time. They do the same things and make the same kinds of choices every day and think that this is all that life has to offer :)
 
Here in the UK most people seem happy enough in their 9-5s as long as they can get off their heads at the weekend. It helps them to forget, I guess. We have to remember that from an early age we're brainwashed into thinking fame/fortune/material objects will bring us happiness, so we keep on plugging away chasing the money. Its a pity really.

Good stuff bro. Very thought provoking. People get so caught up in their own worlds. It is so hard to have a sense of self awareness when we are being constantly bombarded with outside influences.

Definitely good to read stuff like this once in a while. Look forward to future articles!

BTW- I actually speed cause I like to. Well most of the time:)

Thanks for your comments on the site. If you speed because you like to, that might be a bit different from what I'm talking about in the article--what I'm referring to is more of the everyday urgency people seem to experience while driving anywhere. Doing it for fun might be a different thing entirely! :)
