Penny Stocks - Big + or Big -

read the news. this crappy government keeps "regulating" and requiring random stuff which creates artificial bubbles in the market. like the other day, they just approved something that requires all new cars to have backup cameras in the USA.

i looked into it and there was only one really big backup camera company which serves big car companies like toyota right now. well i kept an eye on that stock for a week and it jumped up pretty damn big.

What Co?

Heres a tip. Keep a watchful eye on the major coal companies and look for any takeovers from one of them.

When you say penny stocks can u more specific ? You talking about penny stocks trading on OTC ? Then hell big no...you gonna lose money...instead risk it at playing in casino.

The thing about OTC is they don't need to comply much as the stocks listed on other exchanges. Hence it makes more vulnerable. The guys pumping and dumping are the ones who make money. A lot of people think its easy to day trade using technicals. But nope technicals fundamentals nothing works on those because they don't have any standards. Technicals work when there hedge funds and big companies having stake in the stock.

But you can always look at buying stocks trading on NYSE / NASDAQ etc which are below $10 but make sure it has at least at least 1M daily volume. And try to find a stock from standard list like SP500 , Rusell Mid cap etc.

Thumb of rule : Never ever buy stock based on someone's recommendation(it may include anyone , guru ,ceo , analyst , IB )

Good Luck !

Anyone with 10,000 bucks can move the market on a penny stock. That scares the hell out of me. There are just too many ways to scam with a market that thin.

I actually was part of a group that took a company public in 1987 and we started as a penny stock. There are a lot of opportunities for you if you watch the companies and even get to know some of the principles. Many of the companies are quite accessible and yo may want to look at investing by communicating with the movers and shakers in the company... see what kind of resume they have... that sort of thing.

I have a brother that is always sending me tips on penny stocks that he plays and he does pretty well but I don't personally have the time to do any due diligence so I don't bother.

It can be a real positive situation for you if you are fortunate enough to hit a few of them at the right time.

Thanks man. I did pretty well. I wish I put more cash in.

I have been tracking iweb.ob for a while. The Company is IceWEB, a Cloud Computing/data storage company with Federal contracts with FBI, Videobank, and others.

IceWEB Announces Receipt of Order From Ardent Management Consulting to Enhance Geospatial Services for Google? Earth Enterprise

My advice is NEVER invest in penny stocks because you will lose your shirt. Most penny stock companies are bogus shell companies run by crooks. They hire services to taut their stocks by giving them free shares. The price goes up and company officials and the tauting service sells into the increase leaving you as the bagholder. I tried twice. Once I lost $18,000 and the other time I lost $11,000.

All penny stock investors hang out at Ragingbull and at Ihub. Google those.

Couldn't have said it better. Another thing to look out for when buying pennies is the volume - if you play with big money you can get screwed bad as the volume isn't there like it is with blue chips.

Penny stocks are a great way to make money, when I did it I was always making at least $600/day. The entire guide to penny stocks is the following.

Ignore the technical and financial info of a stock, Always trade on Rumors and News.

Nice ROPA :)

I was looking more into penny stocks and seems like one big guy is : Timothy Sykes , he works with penny stocks and teach others his system, so it might be useful
I havent joined yet, but as far as i researched it seems promising

Timothy Sykes is overrated, for everyone like him that brag and flashes their earnings. There are dozens more that have the same level of success.

Mostly a big -. Unless you're on the inside of the pump and dump promotions. I was lucky once and was in a stock before a pump and made $15 grand. Usually you're chasing a raising share price at the opening. Was a subscriber to promotionstocksecrets for awhile. It's $189 a month. They alert on stocks that follow a pattern that looks like a future promotion so you can get in early. Owner goes by nodummy on ihub boards. It's gambling. IM is more safe and steady.
