Penguin 2.0 | the rollout is now complete | what is your results?

For those of you who got nailed, anything in particular you'd recommend avoiding? Low quality tier 1s? Etc etc...

According to Matt, the rollout is now complete.

I got some small changes, mostly up. I was expecting something bigger, yet 2 my competitors has gone to trash.

What is your results?

No change at all. Wink Wink, even my spam vested sites rank way up there. So i will continue to pump huge amounts of backlinks to those sites not not worry about Penguin for awhile.

... but really i dont trust a word that asshole says. I wonder, does he have better things to do other than sit on video all the time? I mean, does the guy work? When will he get sick of seeing his stupid ass on the net?

Im seeing normal changes on my sites..
mostly are playing on the +- 2 positions..

"Payday loans"

#1 is a site with 2000 sape links

it only means that these type of links are not devalued yet..
and its difficult to devalue them using an algo script...

Across the board KWs mostly dropped -1 for one of my sites... but from #3 to #4 and #2 to #3 thats a significant drop. :(

I have to say that the site which took my original positions does have better quality content, so perhaps Penguin is really effective in that sense.

Then again I'm wondering - will Penguin target more of on-page SEO factors or backlinks?

All my low-quality, crappy-content sites are ranking same or higher, while the sites that contain content written personally and carefully is in the dumps. Matt Cutts = Royal Idiot. I got the lesson loud and clear -- invest in garbage. Gotcha', bitch.

Up from overall 7-6 on two keywords.. IDK if that was my busting ass of 3 days at the new office or what, but whatever it was.. PROGRESS! Here we come top 3!

Anybody who has medical niche 'box me asap! I have good stuff to barter.

I've had several keywords drop anywhere from -1 to -12. This is an authority site with multiple location pages I've been trying to rank.

Content is updated weekly, over 40 articles. I'm not sure what's going on.

*local keywords*

I got obliterated. Several sites completely deindexed that are ranked #1 in Bing. Many more sites lost rankings, but a few did gain ranks. Bad week for me. Banned from Adsense, then hurt in the SERPs. Luckily I kept notes on the linkbuilding strategies I used on each sites and it's obvious to me what was a bad idea.

No movement, good news.PS if you got hit maybe mention the type of links you had and if you used services,it'll help other people.I do blackhat but I don't buy services I do it myself,no damage from penguin 2.I expect penguin 2.1 soon this update targeted paid services to me.It maybe took out a couple of sape network but sape is huge no chance of touching it on a large scale in one update.

I saw a small fluctuation. Nothing major. There is definitely a difference though. Landing pages seem to have less value and content seems to be more of a ranking factor.

Weird. I checked again and the site I thought lost some spots is now at #1. Maybe some dancing going on. I think it's too early to say anything definitive.

Care to share some general ideas on what was a bad idea - networks, sape, etc?
