Penguin 2.0 + 301

I was reading Gorang's post and have seen this sort of thing work for people in the past. Looking to test it on my own stuff as well. Interesting to see it's still working though.

What my understanding right now from the list

Left side is who is getting the redirect.

How did you make that table?

How did you make that table?

Not sure if sarcasm but: advance post > create a table.

Updated the table from gorang thread where he redirects penalized domains to new.

This is the last update I'm going to post unless something crazy happens.

If the domain you are redirecting is very powerful, then you should see a much bigger increase in rank by now. A powerful domain 301ed has a profound effect on rankings for another site. Im making an assumption of the power of the domain being high, if this is the case, i think there should have been a bigger increase by now.

Did you only redirect the homepage of the redirected domain? Or did you redirect all urls on the site too?

I'm interested to see how your site keeps progressing in the SERPs, garrido.

I have redirected all urls.

Is there a tool to redirect all URLs to the new site? What if your old site has 1,000s of pages?

That is quite the hit there, glad to see the site is slowly but surely recovering garrido, it wont be too long before you're back to where you were though! One of my original niche websites was hit at the google update and although I dropped from rank #15 to #89 on my main keyword, it has nearly fully recovered now!

301 redirects usually take a long time to take effect. The increases you saw in June probably weren't due to your 301.
