Penalized to Page 10 after Scrapebox & SENuke Fest

Had a 6 years old website under my hands for a couple of months, it had some 3-4k links on high pr sites (bought, in articles, sidewide etc) and did some major LB on it (MAJOR!). In 3 days it was nowhere to be found, kept doing that and finally came back from nowhere to page one, top 3, for a highly competitive kwd....It is still there for some time, the owner was really pis..ed thinking I screwed his site.
Patience, my friends, is a virtue...Ahhh, and consistency!

So how many times did this happen to you or did you see this happen? The only time I saw this was when that blackhat guy ranked #1 for 'sex', and it took google ~2 months to spot him. If they take 2 months to spot this blackhat guy ranking for sex, they never in a million years gonna spot my little niche site that gets like 0.01% of the searches 'sex' gets.

What I'm trying to say is that google barely does any human reviews. I have a competitor that is keyword stuffing like crazy in the same color as the background, so visitors can't see it. I have reported him 2 years ago, and a couple more times since then and nothing happend to him.

Yes, same with all friend in here.
My sites too got Google Dance, because ranking in the Google not stable, sometimes in Page 1, but after that go to page 3-5
could anyone tell me until when this happen?

i've had some great results using this method
spin the url, use 1 instance of your money site, and 1 instance of each and every web 2.0 and article and wiki you've ever published
that way you still get some links to money site, but not too many, and if you start to get nervous, go create more web 2.0 or wikis or do an article submission and add the livelinks from that in

And You think that all these garbage web 2.0. blogs, social crap and other looks "very natural"? A little bit experienced person, I mean at least with one day training can easily spot that you has performed offsite seo campaign on your site in some minutes. And in this case no matter what you build - bunch of "white hat" web 2.0's or some xrumer profiles, all this things is pure black hat in eyes of G00gle as you try manipulate serps, this is simple.

Yeah, more likely if you have wide links profile in reviewer eyes possibly your site look better then xrummer and scrapebox spammed to death site, but in any case you are on mercy of some people who can be on bad mood today.

"Walking on the edge", this is price of this game and other methods which can make you some shortcuts to achieve your goal whatever it is. And only you can make borders how far you are ready to go. If you want stability - go find work in some retail store as clerk and be there from 9-17/5 days a week.

This answer is from my experience... The answer as many have already told you, the right thing is to keep build backlinks, even directly to your money site. If you stop after this drop it will hurt more.

A have an offline business website that I rank on second page for the main keyword (11.000.000 search/month ) and on the first page for around 1000 secondary keyword only with a few bookmarks, many directory submitting and a lots and lots of SB blog comments backlinks directly to the main website. After a few month of this strategy I decide to go and test a more white hat strategy and slower down things (when I say a lot I mean 5000 backlinks per week, the posted ones, since I blast list of 10k a day). So I move the blast to secondary website and things like that. I do that for a 1-2 month... The result... disaster.. I drop on all the keyword and the phone stop ringing.

Now that I get back on the old strategy.... big amount of backlinks build with SB to the main website, it start to rise again..... I have a very aggressive strategy, my website get some big dances like yours but if I keep what I was doing it come back, some times even higher.

After this I read somewhere here that the best thing to do when you drop down is to keep building backlinks (the ideea was something like G will see those backlinks keep building so it will consider that the website is good not because is on first page, and no matter where it is on serp it get people to talk about---> this was the idea not the exact explanation).

So.. in your place I will keep blast the hell of it.
