PBN Domain Question

Hi Guys, I was searching for expired Domains and I found what I thought was a great Domain, I dont check metrics, I only check the backlinks and archive.org, the backlinks are great but Im confuse with what I found on the archive, At first the domain was for a small start up, then it seems some one in china bought it, because I see a lot of chinese characters, also I see a lot of outgoing links in the archive, so Im assuming it was bought for another PBN, so my newbie question is : can some one please explain what is the risk of buying that domain? Thanks :!

It probably got road hard and put away wet.
I would look elsewhere.

Most of the PBNs fail because they buy worthless domains.so you need to thoroughly check the backlink profile of this domain ,before adding it to the PBN

It's worth checking to see if the Chinese characters you saw don't just mean that the domain was parked with a Chinese hosting company or their equivalent of Sedo. Can you tell if it looks this way? Maybe run some of it through Google translate?

In other words, the domain might not be as screwed as you think, but you have to do a more thorough check than normal.

I discard those domains from the start. It might have been used as a PBN or chinese affiliate site (you can try google transalte and get a better idea) and it might be slapped. I doubt it would hurt your site, but you would spend money on content/hosting and get 0 return for it, so I would just try to get a clean domain.

Were those Chinese or Japanese characters...? You should double check that, makes all the difference.
