Seems you didn't understand what's the key benefit of pbn.
It's using authority of other domains avoiding footprints to achieve rankings.
Free blog hosting platforms like wordpress are fundamentally different (as long as you aren't asking about finding dropped wp.com sites and re-registeting those).

I think the best way would be to buy your own hosting accounts with different IP and host different domains there.

1. Look for expired domains in your niche or a similar one
2. Check their metrics, but mainly their link profile
3. Once you find some domains with a clean profile, register them
4. Build the websites
5. Post content
6. Link to your money site
