Hello,

Instead of having purchased PBN links point directly to my money site, I was thinking about having them as Tier2's link to my Tier1's (Web 2.0 blogs). This would allow more control and if the PBN get's busted, It will be a lot easier to cut off a few of my Tier1's with hopefully only a short term affect on my money site. i like the idea of being able to control what links to my money site.

Any general thoughts on that?

Also, my main concern is how well and affective the link-juice will flow to my money site.

When you say you have more control doing it that way, surely you have TOTAL control over your PBN anyway? By putting a web2.0 in between money site and pbn you are simply diluting the strength of the links so I wouldn't recommend proceeding the way you suggest.

I think he is buying links on a (Public)PBN and not an actual (Private)PBN and is concerned if the network gets taken down.

Yes OP, that works but if you are buying PBN links just be wary of where you get them, as a lot of people are selling crap.
If you want to go down the PBN route, then start slowly building your own.

That is the way to do that, hands down the smart way to handle it, OP.

Plus your idea of using them for tier 2 is one of the ways I use a couple of my networks... it will have a positive effect if you use your noggin.

You'll get some ranking benefit if you do it right but the cost then escalates because instead of buying let's say 10 PBN links to your money site, you have to buy 10 PBN links to each of your web 2.0 pages. Also, you are not in complete control because web 2.0 accounts can get cancelled at any time.

It comes down to ROI at the end of the day. If you can make money doing it this way then you may potentially avoid some of the risk associated with public networks.

For the past 6 months i am using PBN for my client websites. i get the positive movements.
But make sure of that about the KW diversity and content quality, surely it will helps you alot.
My strategy is Quality Guest Post for My money site and use PBN as tier 2.

Yes that is correct. Working on building a PBN as well, but that takes time.

Thanks for sharing what works for you. I like this idea and would not mind trying this approach, the only concern I have is that in most cases you don't have full control over your tier1.

I have to agree with the fellas above.

I was paying monthly for some links and realized that I could be building my own network with that same money.

It was hard letting all of those links go but doing so allowed me to start building a TRULY private network.

If I had a ton of blogs in the network, pointing some at other tier 1's would be something I'd do...just make sure you don't use the same properties to send links to your tier 1's and you money site.

As a noob in SEO i would like to suggest you to build your own PBN. So that you will get full control of it. It will work best for tire2.

If PBN is with PR 1-2. with So many Shared Links Service. than Yes you can use it for 2nd Tier.

That would offer a greater level of protection to your money site at the expense of the link juice derived from the PBN links. In other words, more protection, less ranking power.

Of course it would work. But it wouldn't be taking anywhere near the full advantage of the power of a good PBN (assuming you're building a good one ;) )
It would also be *very* expensive. If you have money to burn, give it a try, but with tier 1 sites that you know won't go anywhere, and realize you'll need a much bigger PBN as tier 2 to get anywhere near the same juice that you would get using it as tier 1.

Well, it depend upon the PBN links you are buying from -- I been using PBN links for my few affiliate sites and getting result superior -- A good and decent PBNs are costly (around $15 per link) and that will give you Nice Ranking Result.

This is going to very seriously dilute/decrease the power of those links. I personally would not do this. If you're spending money just hit the web 2.0's with SAPE

Would the negative effects of using SAPE to your tier 1 carry over to the money site from your web 2.0's or not?

Why not build some site on cheap hosting, point all pbn links to that site. And Then redirect it to money site? Juice link loss would be minimal and at any time you can undo redirect.
