I have been an active member of online world and I provide SEO services for local businesses.

I started seeing Payoneer putting a lot of effort to compete with Paypal while providing budget friendly money transaction methods and allowing the usage across the world.

There are some websites which allow people to purchase things with bigger discounts with visa and master cards but not for Paypal. Seeing this convinced me to create a thread here.

Besides, crypto currency is also showing movements here and there. Do you think that Payoneer will ever be the king of online money transactions?

i don't think so, Payonner is more focused for business Payment, Paypal is not a king it just focused on consumer payment.(a lot B2B payment don't use Paypal)
Well if you want Anonymous payment than it's Cryptocurrency

No, it will absolutely not.

On a global scale nobody will overtake PayPal unless a huge company such as Amazon or Microsoft create something similar.

Take crypto's anonymity with a grain of salt.

Small b2c PayPal is better, b2b transferwise or payoneer is better, anonymous bitcoin is better
I only use PayPal when I have a website

Would really love to see PP get knocked off it's perch. It's main advantage is buyer protection.

Paypal has a licence to print money. Sellers are paying over 3.5% plus 3% foreign currency conversion spreads. Buyers are shafted too.
They stopped providing fee refunds on returns.
Seems the other processors are all about the same price.
If you have volume there are other more difficult options.
A good way to reduce fees is to accept various currencies and send to a third party virtual bank account and to do a conversion instead periodically.

There is a particular company I love dealing with that has low fees and a very efficient service.

From personal experience. PayPal is very restricted. and looking for restricted documents that I can't provide. for example, I am living in an Unsupported country. which I can't withdraw to my bank account.

meanwhile, Payoneer is fast in response, very creative, you can get verified easily and their documents required are very easy and straightforward. I can do withdraw beside they provide you with a card.

Payoneer for me already overcome the Paypal in my case.

Paypal even charging 5% currency conversion fee which is a ripoff.

Example product cost 1000 euro or at normal eurusd exchange rate 1.10, merchant would charge you $1100.
Buy if you log in to paypal to pay then paypal adds 5% conversion fee and they make you pay $1150 usd.

Even money changers at airports are not this greedy.

Thats why monopol is never good for users.

Overcome in terms of Features/Functions? or Users?
Not even close in the next 5 years. PayPal is still dominating. I hate PayPal's policies, but i have no choice.

the irony is what make us hate paypal. is also what make customer prefer Paypal

I really hope paypal gets some decent competition. Their fees are unjust

The thing is that many people on this forum have an active PayPal account working for them since many years so they will be happy

You'll also need to mix the coins around through exchangers and such.

But yeah, a few hardware accounts and a few back and forth exchanges through Monero to wash them crypto and you're all good.

But people think that crypto is fully anonymous from the start, and that is not true.

Maybe. Once Payoneer decide to create a gateway for ecommerce websites. But until then, I dont think so.

I think they've both decided on what path to follow.

PayPal is a lot flexible for customers to pay for goods and services than payoneer or unless you're making payments with your Mastercard directly(which isn't much different from other credit/debit card providers), while Payoneer it's is much better for businesses to make payments.
Since I've been using payoneer for a couple of years now I've only had to recieve payment from businesses than to use make payment.

So I think they're just different though similar

Stripe, Worldpay, 2Checkout are other options but it depends on your business.
