Hey everyone, I was wondering if I can use a stealth PayPal account to buy crypto from MoonPay without KYC. Will this cause any issues with my PayPal account? Has anyone here successfully received funds without any problems? Thanks in advance!

MoonPay is generally risky. PayPal has pretty strict terms of service and they actively monitor accounts for suspicious activity. If they suspect your account is being used in a way that violates their policies particularly for things like circumventing KYC it could lead to account limitations freezing or even permanent closure. As for whether others have gotten away with it mileage varies. Some might have had temporary success but it doesn't guarantee it will work for you or that it won't eventually cause problems. Proceed with caution and understand the potential risks involved. Maybe look into more compliant options instead.

I saw someone talking about this topic and updated that the transaction went through without any issue. But I'm afraid to lose this PP account. lol

I wanted to use Paxful but there's a lot of scammers there.

It can be risky, stealth accounts are usually fragile, if you have all the docs and verifications, you could try, but if your stealth account is not so warmed, it can trigger a verification process and they will require more docs

I have all the docs, but I wouldn't put it in risk. Thank you for your answer!

Doesn't paypal directly allow you to swap your balance to crypto?

Personal or Business PayPal? If business you can change name and make easy exchanges.

Paypal will ask for Kyc unfortunately. p2P will be your best option I'm afraid
Yes, P2P is the best method, but nowadays, very trusted P2P platforms like Paxful are asking for KYC to filter out scams and provide better service.

Lastly, a tip: if you successfully buy any cryptocurrency, try to convert it to XMR (Monero) and then swap it for whatever crypto you want to increase your anonymity

using a stealth paypal for moonpay isn’t a good idea — they require kyc at some point and paypal can lock or limit the account if they notice unusual activity. safer to use an exchange that’s more lenient or look into p2p options instead.

Using PayPal with services like MoonPay usually requires proper KYC. Stealth accounts or trying to bypass it can definitely cause issues, including account limitations or frozen funds. If you want to avoid problems, it’s better to stick with verified accounts — much safer long term.
