So, I recieved an e-mail today saying that they reversed a payment!

I sent a product to the guy, and he took it for free!!!! :@

I also switched to a premier account and the fees are unbelieveable, fuckers...

Is there any way around this? I want to get my payment back. This fuckin guy got the product for free...I didn't know that paypal could reverse the payment, this is fuckin bullshit!

Good luck getting your payment back, but if you do enough volume with paypal they will reduce your fees...

Well thats the whole problem, how the hell can I get my money back???

You sold a product to someone and they claimed unauthorized use or some shit?

Was it a digital product?

PayPal has invested a lot of stake in their robots and artificial intelligence, however they aren't getting the message that some situations require human intervention (and then the problem arrives where their employees are incoherent monkeys sometimes). It's a loose-loose. PayPal will mess with the wrong people some day, and it's going to go down. They really do everything in the book to prevent actually having to do their job, it's called being lazy. The only company that has successfully automated half of its work force is Google. Blessed be to ePassporte, Amazon, and Google - as opposed to PayPal, eBay, and *insert failed search engine here*.

@ jeremy - no it's not a digital product

@ ceaser - Yeah I hope tghat they go down once and for all!

BUT CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT CAN I DO TO GET MY MONEY BACK!?

Have you tried calling them? Pray beforehand that you're blessed with an employee of coherence.

Honestly, usually when they make a decision it is FINAL.

Your best hope is to gather all information that you can..shipping details, proof of delivery, email correspondence, etc...

When you get all that together call them and be VERY CALM. If you start demanding shit and being abrasive they are not going to work with you just out of spite.

I e-mailed them, and I also e-mailed the dumb SOB that stole my money. Cause If he doesn't give it back I will spend an entire month following his every move and screwing everything he has!

How much money are you talking about?

Usually with paypal and physical products you have some kind of seller protection...

I would imagine that at some point, there will be some sort of class action suite against them. It's really only a matter of time.

Ok, a lot of people are bitching about PayPal lately so I'm going to copy a section from another forum that deals with the trading of WoW Accounts. This is a nice handy little mini guide to selling through PayPal

1) create a money request and send it to the paypal you want to receive money from (do not under any circumstances just go "kk, here is my paypal, please send me XXX" - you will get scammed for "item not received".

2) under the details of the money receipt, place in the title and description "digital delivery of an intangible world of warcraft item - by accepting, buyer waives paypal buyer protection policy"

3) get the buyer to now send you an email from his verified (if its a normal account, do NOT deal with him and refund the money) stating

"i (insert name) of (insert address / phone number) hereby authorize the payment tendered of value (insert) to (your paypal) on (insert date) for digital delivery of an intangible world of warcraft item - by accepting, i waives the paypal buyer protection policy" attached is my IP address (tell him to copy and paste it from here http://whatismyipaddress.com/).

digitally signed (insert buyer name)

4) after you have verified the email address get him to tender you the money via the money receipt.

if the name or address or landline in the paypal money details does NOT match the ones he gave you, refund the money and request a western union if he wants to deal. do NOT accept echecks.

5) once you have the money, instantly move it to your bank account (it will be put on hold for 2-3 days) - even if he was to recall it, paypal would just put your account into negative and you hold the money smile

Put the guy's phonenumber, address, name etc. on the website that has "chargeback" scammers listed. In the future you can look up which asshole not to sell to.

And I too hope paypal will go down..but it just won't. Paypal is located in Switzerland as far as I recall. Purposely put there to avoid tax and other sensitive information. I hope eBay goes down..Paypal will see its first drop in transactions then.
