Good news to all of us, I just got mail from paypal.....

Receiving Limit Raised To USD 3000 Per Transaction

Dear #####,

We are pleased to inform you that the RBI will now allow you to receive export-related payments of up to USD 3000 per transaction into your PayPal account, effective immediately.

We sincerely thank you for your understanding and patience over the past few months as we continue to implement the changes required to remain compliant with the RBI guidelines. With these changes completed, you can confidently accept PayPal for your cross-border transactions with our global buyer base of over 100 million active accounts in 190 markets worldwide. We look forward to continuing to support your export business through our global online payment platform.

To comply with the RBI guidelines, you must add a Permanent Account Number (PAN), Purpose Code and local bank account to your PayPal account in order to continue receiving export-related payments.

yeah indeed its good news until u have that much money to recieve every month $3000/month how many of you recieving that much money per month?

Bro $3000 is not per month limit.... its per transaction. There are several of us getting more than $500 per transaction :yumyum:

Good News guys. but I have already added PAN Card & Bank name in my Paypal account. But he already telling here to add PAN No. I am not understanding why. I can't request for payment through Paypal. The PAN you provided was found to be invalid after verification. Please add a valid PAN

Now when I am trying to add my PAN showing here existing PAN No.

Its a great news.
Hope soon Paypal will allow us to keep the balanc, cancell auto withdraw and allow us to shop online directly using paypal balance.

I am facing the same issue. Unfortunately for me, my paypal account got limited the very same day, I was about to start an ecommerce site. Just keep bothering them and keep hoping that they will fix it. I have been emailing them since three weeks. I had sent them a faxed copy of my pan card as well. They keep saying that they have large volumes to take care off and blah blah...

If you run an ecommerce site, then try out 2checkout. It took a little more than a week to get approved but at least my work is not at halt because of their approval. The set up fee of $49 can be waived off because there are lots of discount coupons around. just search google.

Same happened to me. I called the customer care and they asked me to FAX photo copy of my PAN card. FAX your PAN card photocopy, your Email ID associated with paypal account. Address FAX to Accounts Review Department.
FAX No : 1-402-537-5731.
