Paypal Help

    Hi All,
    I have already added one bank account to my PayPal and trying to add another one So I can remove the other one since that account can not receive money any more, It Always shows an error message that we can not process your request, please try again later.
    What I have tried -
    1. waited for 48 hours to clear any PayPal flags ( PayPal support asked this), No login during this time, still no success,
    2. tried adding a different account of a different bank, No success( tried 2 different banks already), same error.

    Paypal support said that they can not do anything about it at all.

    If there is any way to bypass the error, please let me know...

    To be honest, most of the these reps are useless, why? They didn't even have or own a PayPal account themselves.
    Now what you should do? Call again, and let the rep add your bank. YES, they are able to add the bank account on your behalf.

    Are you entering wrong address or something else wrong? it can happen if there is even 1 mistake on your part, even in the zip. Do recheck!

    No mate, there are many genius people on this forum, I've experienced this. Whenever I have any IM related problem I come here and search for the solution. and it never disappoints me.

    Lol. Did you even understand his suggestion? He's asking you to call paypal up as their online customer care executives are useless. Not that they're any better on call but you can still try.

    Everything is correct, My PayPal is verified as well, Like my ID and address proofs are verified earlier.

    I told that I have already contacted them ( forgot to mention on call), and the guy told that it is decided by their security system and they can not override it. I'll call again and will try to force but seems useless to me.

    Unfortunately, you will need to provide some more details of the issue. Are you trying to link a bank account or credit card? Or link you Paypal to an eBay account or a website?

    Just trying to add my Bank account to my Paypal account, So I can withdraw money. I have one bank account already added to PayPal but that is closed now. So need to change.

    It could be one of these reasons but im not sure of it.
    1. Bank codes is incorrect
    2. Bank cannot process right now due to lockdown <- Really not sure about this
    3. Try other bank account
    4. Make sure your bank account has some funds on it coz paypal will take a small fee just linking your bank to it but it will be returned to you if the connection is successful

    I have my Paypal account since 2004 Business Verified, I experienced something like this before but all was fixed on a phone call

    The best time to get Paypal agents that actually can be effective is during the weekdays. Call in morning. It's amazing the difference

    I think there is only two ways left for you now:

    1. Give a last try by calling them at the very early in the morning and ask for a solution.

    2. If no.1 doesn't work, take help from third party sites who provide Paypal solution.

    I had the exact same issue for a business account, my bank details were correct, account verified, exiting processing for years, etc.

    they needed to « force » the system and it solved the issue

    I still do not know what was the reason behind all of it

    If you have a debit card of the account that you are trying to add, you can try linking your debit card instead of the bank account. Sometimes minor issues in the bank account can stop paypal from automatically adding it. You may need to push the paypal support to do that manually for you if nothing else works.

    Thanks everyone for suggestions. I didn't login for 4-5 days into paypal and then tried to add the bank account and the error was gone. So error fixed automatically.
