Today is my lucky day. Anyone else got this message from Paypal? Dispute resolved both in our favor, i.e. buyer and seller.

Resolution of Buyer Complaint Case # PP-002-032-***-***
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

    Dear James *******,

After careful consideration of this case, we've decided in favor of the
    buyer.

PayPal has determined the buyer should receive a refund. Due to the unique
circumstances of the claim, and your PayPal account history, we will refund
the buyer on your behalf. Your account will not be debited.

It pays when you have good reputation not just in BHW but Paypal as well.

Nope. I just replied to the case and told Paypal to settle the dispute under their discretion. The not-as-described dispute was filed and I told paypal I never had problem with my other buyers complaining the same thing.

    Maybe I was just lucky.

sounds very lucky. paypal usually moves at a very slow pace in conflict resolution in my experience. i've been through the "called them 15 times a day" thing.

I simply decided to quit Paypal. It is a non sense to pay all those fees if they offer no protection what so ever for digital content and a lot of other stuff as well.
I have 28/30 won complaints and I`m still very angry on those 2 that I lost cause they were simply scams..
I rather make a new credit card every 6-12 months and ask the bank, monthly, about my expenses to validate I`m not getting scammed for using the card in a wrong place.

Hi guys! When the dispute is about "not as described", then it is better to let go of it and not reply until the case expired. However, if something like non-receipt, I usually had a tracker on my download page to track if the buyer really did visited my download product and grabbed it.

Well, I thought I am lucky because it was a "not as described" dispute. But then again, I thought, Paypal must have gotten some of those from my Paypal transaction clicks which did not progress and I still got product download clicks without me getting paid. Sounds tricky!

But like I said, keeping your Rep and History clean will surely help you out.

Nothing unique, but I believe the buyer was under investigation after the resolution. I say this because after he bought a different product from me, he then dispute the transaction claiming not-as-described, again. But after my reply to Paypal where I told that I am sure this guy is just trying to scam me by buying my products and filing dispute afterwards. Of course, Paypal sided on me on the last dispute. I am really lucky!

Very lucky by the sounds of it mate. I've never had good customer service from them. One time they rang me and I actually thought THEY were the scammers, they were so unprofessional.
