Parking Lot Hustlin' - CPA Method

I've done some parking lots with postcards back in the day and got "hustled" myself, off the premises by security. Also, they sent a cease and desist letter to the admin contact at the url I was promoting on the card.

A parking lot devours time and shoe leather. The Internet has massive reach with less effort. I say stick to the Intarwebz.

You obviously were doing it wrong. Offline can be just as profitable because it creates a sense of legitimacy.

when i was walking out to my car from the library i found a post-it note stuck right along my drivers side door handle. it looked really proffessional like they had a stack of these things printed out. couldnt have costed more than a stack of business cards. You cant miss it, and would be easy and quick to place. an yes i kept it and still have it. just a thought... since you said you wanted to stay away from actual flyers.

just thought i'd mention that it's also good exercise, delivering thousands of flyers a day. if you don't get other people to do it for you, that is...

earning money and burning calories! :D

Check out this list that someone just shared:

Too many options necessitate selection, and hence frustration, when brain decides it?s unnecessary work. The example here is given by a company that manages retirement funds for other companies, and hence has access to retirement information of 800,000 employees. When employees were offered a choice of 2 funds, roughly 75% signed up for a retirement program. When the number of funds was increased to 59%, even though qualitatively this was a better deal for employees, only 60% decided to sign up. When Head & Shoulders brand killed off 11 flavors of the shampoo, leaving only 15 on the market, the sales rose 10%.
I'm wondering though, if 10 contests would be too much. You should split test with 10 and 3 offers.

If you want to go a little blacker, you could put something like, "Is your car in violation of bla bla bla?" Have them go into a website and you could get all of their info (ie, phone, address, full name) if done right. It's not illegal as long as your not pretending to be some a gov't entity, but people can be stupid and misinterpret information presented to them.
