Paid Traffic to Blogger

Is buying traffic to a Blogger maintained site worth the investment, or would my money be better spent buying the traffic directly to my Clickbank hop link?

It really depends on the niche etc.. By directing to your site, you might get more than one sale from them on a different product. Also, you'll need to make sure the traffic is very targeted or it won't convert well.

In my opinion you could better buy it for your Blog and if you have Adsense you will earn money from it

With clickbank, not every visitor will buy something, maby 2-3 people if you have lucky..

First of all, don't buy traffic for sites where you have Adsense, because you will get banned pretty fast. You will lose both your money and your adsense account.
Now, about buying traffic for Clickbank offers. No, it most likely won't work, at least not with direct linking. What you can do is buying PPC traffic for your squeeze page where you will capture the emails and then try to sell clickbank products via email marketing.
