Over Optimization Penalty Launched Today

I am pretty sure this is going to worsen the search quality. The latest updates are all decreasing the search quality. They are forgetting that not only spam content owners using seo. People who composes awesome content but have no budget for advertising also using seo :)

Seeing some EMDs that were highly optimized are getting hammered - however local places seems to be an exception. (if the site isn't showing up in places it is down though).

The common factor is the sites were built around onsite SEO including content (where as more natural sites seem to be standing tall).

A few case study sites that got huge scrapebox AA blasts are gone now - including some negative SEO tests I did. Anyone else seeing the hammer fall for SB blasts?

I am also seeing facebook, linkedin, and twitter pages ranking much higher in the SERPs for some of my terms.

their search is looking more and more like something from 2007 either that or i get 3 listings from ehow.com which is written by fucking outsourcers with shat English ability.
 
I wonder with fb going public in less than a month, if this puts g on the defensive. Fb will have the capital to create there own search engine or other. None of the big guys like g. Apple, yahoo, facebook, would love to see g go down.
 
Freaking Google, what a bunch of tools. So all of my sites went UP, well except for the very 1st site I ever made when I knew nothing about black hat SEO, the one with 2200 pages of useful content, videos, articles, the one with an original article that I posted last year by a guy who just qualified for the US Olympic team, the one with an article that was contributed by a guy who was the youngest NCAA champion EVER in his sport, the site that makes me almost no money but I keep it up because I love the sport..THATS the one that dropped for every single keyword that was ranked.

Old Fat Cunts and his goon squad makes me laugh sometimes. Hey, I will keep these results, I will trade dropping in rank for a site that does almost no revenue for 5 that bring in money going up any day of the week!
 
The real question is what does everyone think we should do about it?

Yes the results are extremely bad. When i search my main keyword i see amazon links, very little traffic sites, almost 0 content sites etc. It was a lot better 2 years ago.
 
Holy crap. Just checked my SERPS. This makes Panda look like a little dance on a new site.
 
I don't understand.

One site I started just to test the basics out is now #1 for all the keywords it's targeting. It only has around 30 backlinks, all pr0...

Oh, and it has 0 content. Not even 1 article.
 
I am hesitant to start my new niche until this bullshit dies down. The results are the worst they have ever freaking been. Google slaps one of my sites and boosts the other. then slaps that one and boosts the other. Its some real bullshit. Maybe I should start looking into youtube marketing. or fucking fliers or some shit lol
 
Wow, I track 147 keywords and almost all my rankings are gone...this is not good for me...
 
just checked serpbuddy and sh*t...this update hit me hard! looks like my $200/day is over :(
 
One of my arcade sites got wiped off the map. Now its all authority arcade sites, aka "fuck off to the small guys" regardless of site quality.
 
I took a closer look at of the serp in a few of my niches and DAMN!!! Google just seems to be fucking up more and more. I am not just saying this cause I lost a few sites in the ranks... In fact I may even make more money since I slapped a few affiliate links on 100 or so support web 2.0 sites which are now ranking quite well now BTW.

Anyway, I just can't see them fucking up anymore without the average Joe and Jane getting pissed. Every update is just fucking things up more and more.

my site had this morning 20 long tail KW on first page
now only 1 KW @ 2nd place

every few KW i use different SEO
once it was Fiverr AMR other times web 2.0
all gone the only KW stay up is the one i never did anything like no SEO whatsoever

hope it just dance cuz all the content was hand write
