Over Optimization Penalty Launched Today

I hate you g00gle , really hate u! lost some more sites... they were 1st page in the morning... and yes this is open for those using neg seo, it will be like a war :S
 
Yep, two of my best performers have been knocked out and are nowhere to be seen, probably disappeared up G's big dark hole!
 
Well this is either a declaration that Google has been turned into a battlefield.... Or they just say this to freak us out as those technics are still working.
 
but some of my websites were white hat with a very few incoming links for low competition kw
 
Yikes, good thing none of my sites use those sorts of contextual backlinks on those pages with spammy content. It's the worst.
 
Just noticed some big changes in my niche too.. I have 5 sites in it, 3 have dropped a place or 2 on certain keywords, and 2 are nowhere to be found, while the site that's now #1 was barely on the first page the last few months. Hope this isn't permanent :(

I think it was more in the context of relevancy of the text around the keywords and not about spun content. The guy simply pointed out that the article was clearly spun.
 
I don't know if anything has taken effect yet or not.... but I just checked my rankings. I moved up 15 spots for 2 insurance type keywords. This is a site that hadn't really moved in about a month. I don't know if I did something Google liked or if the 15 sites that were in front of me did something Google didn't like. I guess I'll take it though. :)
 
Wow, every single one of my sites has had its rankings pretty much destroyed in the past few hours...
 
I have conflicting results here !

Some websites increased seriously and some others seriously decreased.
