New to twitter marketing looking forward to growing accounts organically/any safe way possible as I see many people are getting their account banned.
All information is valuable to me :)

some people report having success with IFTTT: retweet popular stuff from other successful twitter users

I'm running a bot since february, follow-unfollow. retweet, like etc. Waiting to get 80 more followers to reach 2k :D github.com has free bots available, if you know your way around with python

Thanks for your response I have had success with python Instagram bot from GitHub but didn't really want to mess with boys as mass banning but I'll do look into Twitter bot.
Any updates on Twitter limits?

Similar to how keyword research plays a big role in getting organic SEO traffic to a website, researching trending hashtags and using them both consistently and effectively can be a great way to gain exposure to your tweets and profile in general. You can use this awesome site to search for hashtags and get an idea of the best ones to use. Good luck.

Any updates on Twitter limits?

I post 4 tweets daily and used to follow from 20 to 40 People daily. The numbers are randomized to appear more natural. Ne er had any problems at all.
Now I unfollow about 20 People daily, because I want to follow fewer People.

Twitter are kinda getting their act together.

I own a tool that uses the Twitter API legitimatelly and I'm still seeing people getting banned left and right. I expect automation to get harder and harder as time goes by. Twitter are saying so themselves. So your decision to go safe and organic is smart.

If you are growing several accounts, they can't have the same content. This has been announced last year I believe, and it is implemented pretty well right now. Just today I saw someone on Reddit complaining about bans just for using the same username on several accounts. That's just the username, not even real content. Trying to publish identical content will probably get punished fast as well.

Manually doing follow/unfollow still works but also results in a ban here and there. If doing it, do it slowly and carefully. Define a process, what type of accounts belong in your audience, and only go after them. No sudden movements. Test and increase numbers slowly.

Don't overdo it with the hashtags. Experiment by all means, but I've found that using more than 5-6 hashtags in a post can already have counter-effects.

Pictures increase engagement. This was basic Twitter 101 a few years ago and it is still true. It's kind of common sense really, the picture tweets are visually bigger and more colorful in the timeline, and they attract more attention. Use pictures often.

Links in your tweets decrease your reach. Some say a tweet with a link in it gets about 30% of the reach it would get without it. So try and have lots of tweets without links too. Yeah, it's boring and it seems useless I know, but it is good in the long run.

Like and retweet people a lot, not just influencers.

If you are selling or promoting something, experiment with DMs. If sending the same copy, you will not be able to send a lot of them. But you can respond as much as you like when someone else initiates contact. So have a call-to-action in your description that entices people to DM you for any reason.

Right now, I would suggest trying to use the platform to engage with influencers from your niche. Follow them and don't unfollow them, like share and comment on their posts. This exposes you to them, but also to their users, sometimes they see your comments and some will decide to engage with you as well.

Good luck.

I’d say that hashtag research should be your first step. Still, you shouldn’t use too many hashtags — I try to stick to three per Tweet.
Also, post several times a day and retweet popular Tweets. Your content shouldn’t be too promotional. Instead, try to talk to your followers and be fun or educational. Images help a lot as they increase the reach and attract more attention. In addition, shorter Tweets (up to 100 characters) have better reach than the longer ones.
Creating or participating in group chats and Twitter chats can also increase your following. Of course, sending DMs, follow/unfollow, and mother/child methods are necessary if you want to speed up the process.
