Organic Traffic Generation[Question / Suggestions ]

So I have this a website and its on Free Hosting and uses a Free Domain because I obviously don't have any cash to give up on hosting.
The Blog is using WordPress as the CMS and hasn't got any traffic even though I'm posting it manually without any autobloggers or any other such software.
and Fiverr isn't working for me because I'm not so good at anything.
Even though I'm a Computer Science Student I'm not perfect with programming languages and thus using them as a fiverr Gig is not going to help.
So basically I would like to have a little income based on my Niche : Linux , Reviews, Smartphones .... to shorten it up its about Tech.
I would like to be helped on how i could build up traffic, It's not about earning but I do want my site to be a little bigger than just a link in the Google Database.

I do not mean to be pessimistic, or to bring your spirits down, but you picked a bad niche if you have no money to spend on ranking. Maybe try some targeted promotion on Facebook to get started? Gaining fans is a very cheap process and an active Facebook page can produce great traffic.

i know the niche is over saturated but that's where my knowledge is because I'm a CSE student after all .
and so the page should have independent posts? or do i link my website posts to the Page .
if your talking about the 2nd option then I'm already doing that Social Promotion is active.
