How do you go about setting something like this up. How to do you remain completely anonymous? I appreciate any help and advice.

There are levels to illegal, how illegal you want to be?

Theres multiple types of illegal...

Linking to pirated content (USA and certain western countries)
Hosting pirated content
Hosting secrets (like wikileaks)
Profiting from copyrighted material
Hosting illegal content (CP, Bestiality)
Selling drugs
Selling arms
Assassination

Pick your flavor of illegal.

Just curious . where can anyone host website son these :

Selling drugs
Selling arms
Assassination

Not that i m planning to . but just curious :p

lets say selling prescription drugs. Theres a few over the counter medications in Mexico that are illegal in the U.S. that have a huge market. Phentermine for example. I'd just like to get a site up without it getting pulled OR worse...
"Beastiality" haha. If theres money in that then sign me up for that too.

Get used to using TOR. Then setup an onion site and get hosting with freehosting. If freehosting won't accept you, then you can buy hosting using bitcoins and false info.

TOR is essentially an encrypted connection using several other computers also using encryption. It would take 3 levels of decrypting to break into a connection to a tor site. The network is already used for the most illegal of illegal.

Lots of money. Lots. If you're an experienced coder then you can easily do $400k/month. No joke either, and real numbers.

No money's good when you're dead or jailed. Every step leaves the trace.

How are you going to die? You operate a website that is simply morally illegal. Nothing to kill over.
Jailed... depends on where you live.

Yep, TOR is the darkside of internetz, And i thought YNC was dark

- Upload site at internet cafe with no cameras
- Destroy computer you built it on
- Have website accept payment via bitcoins
- Have someone setup overseas to get the bitcoins cashed out
- Have that person WU the money to someone in your country that is being paid by someone you're paying, who will then give it to the person paying them
- Have the final above person bury the money in a field for you once every 6 months.
- Pay someone to pick it up at a random day and time for you.

When enough money is involved, anything is possible to cover your tracks. Yes I've left out steps, but anonymity is achievable under almost any circumstance.

This thread is getting comical.

NOTHING is anonymous. Hosting providers keep logs, if you can find one that will accept your content, which I doubt because it makes them liable too. Even your ISP logs everything you are doing.

Not a good idea to participate in anything illegal. It will catch up with you sooner or later.

Is it really worth it?

If you can't believe it's possible to be anonymous perhaps this discussion isn't for you?

if some people here says it's impossible to remain anonymous, then how those sites beastiality stuff still running????

I'll answer your question with a question then the answer. How are sites still selling pharm. drugs (not cocaine, weed or others)? Simple. They're not bound by local or international laws.

In the U.S., Bestiality is only illegal in about 20 states with no federal law against it. If you wish to run one, you can technically still be in the U.S. and have a U.S. host. Problems would arise from several other factors though including your bank, your merchant account provider, your payment processor, your hoster and any other third party companies. Just because something is not illegal does not mean it is allowed everywhere. Most companies will not work with you, but if you can find the right combination you can operate 100% legally.
For webhosts, you can find ones allowing nearly anything in the Netherlands
For banks and processors you can find those in the carribean
Merchant accounts are normally provided by the bank itself, but not sure on the ones in the Carribean.

As for staying anonymous, anyone who says its impossible is similar to those who said the earth is flat, the earth is the center of the universe, you can't go into space etc etc. If you believe there is a limit, you are limiting yourself and will never overcome it. 100% anonymity is impossible because there is traces, but you can get it to the point where its near impossible.
1) Use a laptop with drive encryption using Truecrypt and a false OS
2) Use mac spoofer
3) Buy a high-gain antenna/router then drive around town and look for open networks
4) Login from 200-700 feet away in your car (or van)
5) Connect to the internet using TOR

Following a few simple steps will make it near impossible to track you down unless you get lazy. IP addresses can be changed, MAC addresses spoofed, address information falsified, money trails that end in off-shore accounts. For some, going to this extreme is absurd. Those people aren't dealing with stuff that serious. For those that are, this is just the noob basics.

That was the point I was trying to make without going into a lot of techno jargon. Using VPN, jacking wifi, encryption, etc. It's possible to control most of it, but not 100%.
