Open Source Scrapebox Alternative (MagicBox)

It would be awesome if you could add a youtube channels scraper (with filters if possible even).

This looks really cool. OP - Is there any good place to start to learn how to make bots using F#? This looks like the best language for me to learn :)

I have people ask for a youtube channel scraper. Like being able to scrape all videos from a given channel.

No, I mean scrape channels URL-s (not video urls on channels but different channels themselves). Like bot crawls video results based on a search term (or just crawls whole youtube as googlebot) and then when it comes to a new channel it will check its sub count, views count on videos, how often the videos have been uploaded and based on that it will either add the channel url to database/txt file or not. The bot would scrape channel URL-s, not the videos URL-s on the channel.

No it doesn't scrape channel Urls at the moment. It scrapes channel videos . Thanks

Thanks, Yes it is but its not impossible. Its fun to do impossible actually.... :)
 
Are u making desktop application? F# is targeted for web or desktop development? BTW nice initiative for making an open source SEO tool

Holy crap! I was not aware of F# before, but I'll have to look into it. That's just a sick level of code improvement.

I don't really know why someone would develop this. Scrapebox has stood the test of time and is relatively inexpensive, sooooo the goal is to really shoot for the bottom feeders that want a tool for free with similar expectations of a rock solid tool.
