Hello Guys,
I have just started coding on open source ScrapeBox alternative called "MagicBox" in incredible F# language.

I need your help for features and suggestions. This tool will be free for all forever.

Just now created a new repository here https://github.com/botrockets/MagicBox and I have started coding.

If you don't have anything meaningful to say please don't pollute this thread with useless comments of thanks and good-luck ... Also I hate naysayers who don't see possibilities and capabilities...

There is lack of open source all in one seo tool in the world. I think scrapebox is the good model to emulate. So I have decided to code this tool. It will have all and more features of scrapebox and other seo tools
 
Initial Draft is like scraping following Search Engines:

Amazon
AOL
Ask
Baidu
BigLobe
Bing
Dogpile
DuckDuckGo
Ecosia
Excite
Gigablast
Google
InternetArchive
Ixquick
Qwant
Rambler
SimilarSiteSearch
Sogou
Yahoo
Yandex
Youtube

I will add more once these are done.
Initial features will :
Supports proxies
Multithreaded
Run on VPS
etc.

I would love to see an email scraper from these search engines
 
Can you recommend me where to start to learn F# language?

Its in development, team is working on it which is not free and this is open source project and its free forever

1000 lines of C++/C#/Java code = 50 lines of F# code..

It's just about productivity, Accuracy and .NET Library Support
 
Please add refspam feature, because scrapebox ref spam sucks - it's slow, and doesn't generate any traffic, and doesn't work with google analytics
 
there never be a free scrapebox , your mad , scrapebox is very powerful and used daily updated daily .

there websites that scrapebox get permission to use free but there paid services for the normal .

challenging scrape box will kill you in code.

for example there hundreds of plugin and even more 3rd party .....

forget it nice idea but very hard work.

take years to do

I have been looking for a scrape bot that gets emails and leads, and also scraping business Instagram pages to get their emails from the mail button as well as their corresponding username and followers etc
 
That's a great idea, but F# is not quite that popular language. Yes it has it's benefits, but if you are looking for people who would contribute then it may be a limiting factor.

agreed I too was looking to contribute. I can do only in python . still learning C# .

You have your point. But as a programmer I know how difficult/easy it is... It's not difficult to code such program... After all trend is open source. They should open source their tool.

I am F# evangelist ! I am member of F# Foundation. (http://fsharp.org/) I have to prove my point that F# is the word's best language for coding bots.
 
OP, It would be good if you write a tutorial on how to use it and customize it, because now for a lot of people it is just a few text documents full of code.
