Hi All,

I had some thought about Software and Websites:

I have some software for the windows environment, each software is a standalone software that do something, each software can go into a separate category like networking, security, files etc.

So my thought are, should I build a site per software with its own domain (using the tool name .com or .net or .org)? or should I build one site for all the software like a company website?

*The tools are free so there is no money from selling them.

The goals are:
1. Helpful tool for the public.
2. Promote my name
3. Use ads to make some money.
4. More time to me to build more tools :-)

Thanks You,
darklich.

Joining the question? is it better to have one big site with optimized pages or have a separate domain for each k/w ? (considering its all the same niche )

You should create a MAIN website for all your softwares. Its better for customization and keyword.
Also got more chances to get leads to another softwares that you own.

Maybe you have instagram, twitter, pinterest, facebook softwares. But one person are just searching for instagram but maybe he is interested in another software that you own maybe for facebook. And if that software its on another website, he cant find it. But if its on the same MAIN website? Got many many chances to find that software too.

@IMlove you have a good point, thanks you, even though I can add a "other/recommended tools" page with link from each site.

By using site per tool each site will be dedicated to the tool with related help, articles, guides and so on.

@BuzzBuzzSale yes, I look on it like a niche base blog around the tool...
Front page with information about the tool +images and a download link, all the must have pages - privacy-policy, disclaimer, about and contact and a section with helpful articles related to the tool.
