Offline business suggestions and tips needed

Try Groupons. Their users are mostly cheap, but good enough to get you started and get some basic traction.
Offer good discounts to locals, who actually live nearby and have a great chance of converting into your loyals (location rules)
Do giveaways on social media.
Hand out flyers.
Some of our local barbershops (Russia) have bars in them with beer on tap. Always nice to have a pint after/before.
Target specific audience – male/female only.

There's lots of stuff you could do actually. I love offline businesses.

I think everyone saying coupons and discounts are wrong.
Salons are for pampering yourself its a high end product. You dont give discounts and cheapen it. If anything offer a small free add on. Groupon sucks it only attracts grouponers, use it for a quick cash injection but you wont likely gain new customers. Take that cash and use it for marketing though if you do.

Create an atmosphere. legit pamper people so they tallk about it. Once a girl gets her hair done what does she do? She tells every friend who sees her "Hey gurrrrrlllll' "OMGAWSH BITCH that hair those nails YASS QUEEN"

Every customer should be posting on their own Instagram/Facebook account after the service. Tell your workers that its MANDATORY to ask them! Be friendly and happy, "hey girl do us a favor cmon its time to post those toes on the gram!" they want to do it, they are going to do it anyway, they need to do it there and tag your store. Your customers should leave the store pumped up. They will refer everyone in time.
this works really well when you have one main host to do this. Someone should actively have a job of being every girls best friend when they arrive. The maitre d. A little flamboyant.
