So I have read a bunch of threads about link indexing but still have some queries (in fact some have come from reading the other threads).

These queries may seem to be simple 'should know' to many pros in here but I'm not asking because I do know :)

Q 1. is putting the 'links to the backlinks' in my "resources" page on my legit eCommerce site(s) and asking Google to find those links and index them the right, or smart, thing to do or not?
I also have a number of blogger blogs that are poor performers but are indexed so I am using the resources pages on those blogs to get baclkinks searched and hopefully indexed - I read somewhere that this is a good thing to do? (I appreciate Google will take their merry time)
Q.2. Should those 'links to backlinks' be [rel= "nofollow"] so as to not be passing on juice from my eCommerce site (wasting it) or will that prevent Google from crawling those links??
Q.3. Is there a better way (if any) to reliably get links indexed without paying for it preferably - (or if a paid service then one that is reliable, am seeing too many contradictory comments about some)

cheers,

Linking from your site to the backlinks you want to be indexed is not a good idea at all, completely self-defeating and blatantly showing that they've been built either by you or with your knowledge.

You ideally want any links that are for indexing purposes to be do-follow.

The most reliable way that you can replicate yourself currently is to use a combination of a Google News-enabled website and GSC indexing requests. Setting up Wordpress and automating news posting can be done following resources on the forum, as can the Google News verification process. Then you add the links you want indexing to the articles on your Google News site, and request indexing/reindexing of that page via GSC. It's not guaranteed and is not a silver bullet, but requires little investment and is something you have control of.

For paid services, a few services in the BHW marketplace worked for me when I conducted this study: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/2023-bhw-indexer-study-update.1485254/
Test them out and see what works for you.

Thanks Steptoe for your response - I've read a number of your posts and comments over a couple of years now and you have lived up to your high standard of thoughtful solid advice so I appreciate that. I will try the Google News/GSC approach and will read your study - for now I just thought I'd say thank you
[Linking from your site to the backlinks you want to be indexed is not a good idea at all, completely self-defeating and blatantly showing that they've been built either by you or with your knowledge.] ... OOOPS , I have been doing that for years - will desist from now on
