Hey BHW

There was a project I almost didn’t start — because everyone around me said it wouldn’t work.
Worse, I didn’t think it would work either.

No budget. No team. Just a Google Doc, a few ideas, and an urge to see what was possible.

I told myself I’d give it 30 days.

No expectations — just effort.

Week 1: Zero clicks.
Week 2: Still nothing.
Week 3: One person replied to a cold message.
Week 4: Closed my first $80 gig.

Not life-changing. But it changed me.

That small win proved something deeper: belief doesn’t always come first — sometimes it follows action.

You don’t need to be confident to start. You just need to start small, consistently.

Curious if anyone else had a moment where they took a chance — and proved themselves wrong (in the best way)?

This is such an important reminder. You don’t need certainty — you just need to start. Thank you for putting this into words!

Absolutely relatable. I had a similar experience where I doubted a side project, but daily small actions led to real traction. Sometimes momentum builds after we take the first steps - not before. Execution beats perfect planning every time.

Your story is like a small fire lit inside me, reminding me that I dont need to wait for inspiration or confidence to start. Just do it, and things will come in the most unexpected ways
