No Clicks, Just Impressions

Let me start by saying that I'm new to whole SEO thing, but I have been reading numerous post on this forum.

I set up a wordpress site, with a SMF on a subdomain. I signed up from ads from Adbrite, Bidvertiser and chikita and got some ads to place on my site, however I'm not seeing any "Clicks" all i see are "Impressions". I've tried clicking on ads but still just more Impressions.
Am I doing something wrong?

You don't click on your own ads...

I haven't tested clicking on my own ads to see if it would register as a click. It probably won't if it is the same IP you used to create the PPC account. However if you changed your IP it should. Or maybe it is that you have the PPC networks cookie in your browser, so it doesn't count it.

However, since you are "new" and you supposedly setup a wordpress site with SMF??? Wordpress and SMF are 2 completely different things. Wordpress is a blog system, and SMF is a forum.... Point being, I doubt your getting any traffic to your site to begin with.

Start getting traffic to you site, then when your impressions are above 100 a day, and you aren't getting clicks, then you have something wrong.

I guess I didn't explain properly...
The main domain has the wordpress site, which the subdomain has SMF.

I tried clicking with at least 5 different wireless networks, and 11 different laptops.
