Chief analyst Stanpoint Research Ronnie Moas raised the forecast for the price of Bitcoin, again broke the record price, in 2018 from 10 000 to 14 000 USD, Telegram channel IBCGx.
According to Moas, positive news is supported by the news that has been accompanying bitcoins for the last five months, including the launch of trading in bitcoin futures on the CME exchange and the start of receiving payments in bitcoins in the popular in the US mobile application Square Cash App.

"We can assume that the good news is still not fully reflected in the current price," Moas said.
At the same time, the CME exchange still denied the start of trading on December 11th bitcoins futures. Information on the launch of derivatives on December 10 and the beginning of trading on December 11 was published on the exchange's website by mistake, CME reported.

Recall, a week ago, Bitcoin noticeably cheaper - an average of 6,000 USD per token. Analysts attribute the current appreciation of bitcoins to the revival of interest in Segwit2x, which is why some investors transfer their savings from other cryptocurrencies to bitcoin.
