Hello everyone! Newbie here with a few questions. Been in SEO for a whole 3 weeks now! Still Going strong! lol
Q's:
1. If it's even possible can anybody either tell me how, or point me in the right direction on how to find out exactly what keywords a competitors specific post (article) ranks for?

2. How many main keywords can i rank a single post for? Each main keyword will have 2-3 LSI's sprinkled in. To narrow down the generalness of this, most articles would contain 2000 words. I'll be keeping main keyword densities at around 0.5%

3. When building out fresh web 2's to link to my money site - (let's say 10 web 2's). Would it be a good idea to build out 3-5 of those web 2's just to link to my other 5-7 web 2's (that link to my money site) in order to give them some juice or would this be a bad idea because this would be connecting the web 2's?

Building an authority site. Going up against some pretty gnarly competition lol. most keywords are 45-50 Difficulty *according to the tool*

Thanks everyone!

1. Semrush
2. There's no limit. Some of my articles are 15K words long and I can put in shittons of keywords and still keep densities low.
3. Too much work for minimum returns. Rather go with some expired web 2.0s, that you can find yourself, and you don't have to screw up with manual tier 2 links.

Also, that will most likely be way too hard difficulty for you, unless you have some sizeable budget.

1.There are many best keyword finder tools available that you use like Spyfu, BuzzSumo and SEM Rush.

2. In an article of 2000 words, keeping keyword density as 2-3 % would be good. This will also help in making your article search engine friendly.

3. This will involve more time and efforts. And, still, after that you may not be able to get desired results.

1. Semrush is the first and foremost tool to check out your competitors keywords. It is the most effective tool for keywords.

2. And you can use the main keyword oftenly in the 2k words article.

3. Not only expired web2.0 you could concentrate on social networks to leverage your contents to get organic traffic for your money site.

Spyfu, SEMRush, kwfinder, similiarweb.. theres lots but those are a good place to start. I like to start with a few keywords and see how I am ranking and what long tail keywords I am showing up for then optimize from there.
