Hey everybody! I'm completely new to the SEO world. I got interested and familiar with SEO after watching Alex Becker on youtube. My goal is to make a decent income with Local SEO clients. I was interested in either joining Source University or BulletProof SEO by Stephen Floyd. Now Alex claims that doing Local seo you can make $10k a month or more realistically. I wasn't so sure so that's why I joined this forum in hopes to see what the experts of SEO really have to say about this. I'm very dedicated and hard working and if this is lucrative I will work my damn butt off in hopes of making a living doing local seo. Is Source University or BulletProof SEO the path I should take? Are these good programs to invest in? Or is there any other programs, free courses, etc to learn the ins and outs of Local SEO. Sorry for the noob questions and thank you for taking the time to help a new guy out!
Welcome to the forums! There are a lot of free guides posted here by users that have a lot of experience with SEO. Look around and you will find guides that take you from the ground up. The stickied threads here are a good place to start. The main thing though is dedication - you have to put in the work. As far as how much you make well there are many factors involved in that. I don't believe everyone that says they are making $10k a month but but some of those people do exist. You have to test and figure out what works for you. I would start with the free information before signing up for any paid course (if those are paid courses) because there is so much useful information on the subject out in the ether already.

Their are a lot of Guides on BHW on how to make money. I have a few SEO guides / threads, so does Basstrackerboats, T0mmy, phpbuilt, ect.
Start reading before you waste money on products of 'universities' on SEO.
SEO changes very rapidly so any course you read is already outdated. And a hint for you is most courses were copied from this very sites.
You can make 10K a month with local SEO if you know what you are doing. This is a field where you learn by doing. So start trying to rank sites.

I think you will need to read not more, then search for some suppliers, this will hill much in getting your serivses, description and support
I really beilive in making money by reselling services, the profit will be due to your work, and this is fair enough
