I’d say original data and genuinely useful content are still underrated. Combining that with strong internal linking and relevant digital PR seems to produce better results than chasing every new tactic.

I don’t think there’s one “new” technique that beats everything else. What’s working for me is improving existing content, stronger internal linking, topical depth, and getting relevant mentions. The basics still work, just with more focus on quality and relevance.

One thing I’d add is making content more useful with real examples, screenshots, or first-hand insights. A lot of content covers the same information, so adding something genuinely unique can make a page stand out.

For me content clusters and internal linking have worked well. I also focus on matching content closely to search intent instead of trying to rank every page for broad keywords.

Honestly? I don’t feel much has changed in terms of “white hat” SEO for the last few years now, not the foundations anyway.

Sure we’ve had to adjust a little onsite wise with regards to catering to the introduction of Ai search recently.

I see quality being a major big thing these days but that’s coming from someone that’s been in seo for a decade, so yeah quality improvement is obviously evident to me anyway.

The a-z of white hat seo - solid onsite optimisation (being conscious of ai now and obviously mobile), excellent content and quality links.. not much has changed there.
