Hi guys. Recently noticed a new SEO tool at ProductHunt - Serpstat. Does anybody have an experience with it?
I'm using SEMrush now, but Serpstat is cheaper. Is it worth going over to it?

I pop over to Serpstat now and then and use their free version for a few little ideas I have. I've not looked a their full product offering though but I do believe it could be a decent product/service based on the little bit I use it for.

As to a replacement of other services/products I am not sure but I think it is only 49.00 a month for the full compliment of tools so there may be some value as it is pretty inexpensive as an additional tool to cross check.

First, check if it has the countries you work on. SEMrush ahs more databases, so if you focus on Germany or Netherlands for example, SEMush is your best call.

My agency basically forced Serpstat on us, because our CEOs are pals, and I actually like it now.
We switched from SEMrush + Ahrefs to Serpstat + Ahrefs. Although they have added backlinks to their platform, so we may be ditching Ahrefs soon (although probably not).

It's keyword and competitor analysis features are good, rank tracking is just a rank tracking. Backlinks database is identical to Majestic, I assume they just re-sell it. Site audit is ust for basic tasks, works good for creating an offer for a client, shows basic errors.

I've posted a few cool tricks here that I did with Serpstat.

If you work on big projects, the API price is a big plus. We use it a loooot.

the tools is from netpeak. I used their tools since years, it's a solid company.
But i still prefer SEMRUSH that is more detailed. (i have few coupon for free trial. PM me if needed)

Would anytime recommend SerpBook for this!! And of course SEMRush can much more so wouldn't switch.
thanks for the reply! can you please tell me a bit more about SERPbook? e.g. Does it contain backlinks analysis? I didn't understand much out from the landing page :(

yea, I've heard about netpeak. thanks for such a kind offer, will PM you soon if don't decide to pass over to another tool

its looks simillar to SEM rush, plan also not seen a big difference. $49 per month , not at all. its goes up till $299

Hi,

I guess it all comes down to personal taste.

In my opinion, both SEMrush and Serpstat are fine. SEMrush is hugely popular because it just does the trick.

I don't think you'll save that much money going from one to the other.

Even so, I'd always recommend you diversify and try new tools so as to be able to understand which one is best for you.

Cheers!
