Hey all, I've started my own captcha removal service, and I've decided to start looking for users here first. So, anyone that wants to signup, and give it a shot, enjoy, the URL is http://www.deathbycaptcha.com I'm starting people here off at $2.00/1,000 captchas, as a special for you all here (probably going to be $2.50/1,000 normally). For now, the only API is in PHP, but more will come in the next few weeks. If you have an issues with the site, feel free to send me a message, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Comments & Suggestions are welcome, and usually acted on

PS yes, things don't look 100% perfect on the site, it's still just starting out. But the data entry people are already doing a massive amount of work, so it should be good for you all.

You'll probably get banned for this.. but i went over to your site and I am trying to figure out what the plate of spaghetti says. If you can't beat $2/1k captchas then you probably won't stay in business very long.

Ya, just create an account, and the API is there once you log in. I'll give a few $ for anyone that joins from here to test out the system.

.... and I hope I don't get banned for this. I don't know why I would. I'm legitimately just trying to offer a solution for some people. If I am breaking some sorta rule here, admin, feel free to let me know. Don't just ban me outright :nervous:

You might get banned as there is a 30$ service fee but actually everyone talking about "some product" would have to get banned either for advertisment.
Maybe check the for sale thread ?

About your service:
How long does it take for a captcha to be solved in average, what are highest usual times ?
Do you have an API command for failed captchas ?

I think you started a very hard business, if you want a chance you'll need two things:
a) good response times
b) good reliability

It's human powered for now, but we will offer certain captchas at an even further discounted rate soon, as I own OCRs for many different types.

It's often returned within 5 seconds and, at peak times, maybe 20 seconds or so. I'm still tweaking the backend and hiring more people, so it's likely to get better.

Of course It's pretty simple to do when you look at the API.

That's why I'm starting out with just a few people, to see how it goes. It's generally pretty fast so far, but I'm always pushing my programmers to make it faster.
