I managed SEM for company doing mobile content (i.e. ringtones), the company was pushing the rules quite a bit and finally got their adwords account banned. While doing that they in turn got my own personal accounts banned. I know the work arounds, but I haven't been able to get an account to last. I even went to the extent of using a relatives PC (remoting into it) using a CC under my wife's name (Never been used in Adwords) and used my father's address and the account still got tied to my own account. 2 questions I have for you guys out there.
1.) How much does a mature adwords account cost (meaning more then a couple days old) & How do you input your payment method without linking it back to you?
2.) If you were in my shoes and your employer was the one that got you banned, (My account was clean, just doing basic ecommerce, ect) would you pursue legal action against the company since you can longer open accounts, etc because of their negligence?
I know #2 sounds harsh but I'm a contracted SEM and I've been scared to help new clients, etc because of fear that their account will be banned. I also can't do any more my own stuff either. Thanks for everyone's input!
