Hello everyone! I own an Minecraft channel that makes redstone tutorials. I have a large fanbase, so large that i could get in to almost any network.

So i have a question, which one should i go with or should i run solo? I am not currently partnered with YouTube as in my experience my RPM is around 0,50$ with Trueview ads.

I would no way even consider an network partnership via TGN or one of their sister networks. (sister networks example, vexon)

A few years ago, there was only Machinima but now theres alot of new networks.

I will join the most "secure" network with the highest payment (rpm). I would preferably sign a contract. I know almost everything about YouTubes partnership "features" so i would not need any support for that kind of things. I would prefer a network that would allow livestreaming.

Also by secure, i mean im not joining a network that will just offer insane RPM and then end up not paying me.

If Machinima still uses lock-in RPMs, i would not consider them as they offer 2.5$/k - I heard VESO has RPMs up to 17$ meaning its WAYYYYYY too low.

Regards,
Vincent

Don't join a network. What you need is good old SEO. Raid your channel with more fake views and ratings, etc. Also start posting your shit on social sites (Reddit)

Also, turn off Trueview. Worst thing ever. Never have that shit enabled. Turn on prerolls, and post rolls (if applicable)

If you're hitting over 5000 views per month then join Curse. $3 CPM, Join/Leave anytime, get paid the first month..

Seriously they are amazing.. Google shut them down for a month (no monetization) and then they re-opened and paid everyone in the network for the whole month they were shut down!

Any network saying they want 30% split of your profits, DON'T JOIN.

Can you please explain more about why Trueview is bad?

People hate ads, Agreed?

Trueviews are prerolls, but one huge difference, they can be skipped. When skipped, you don't get paid shit.

Now here's the issue. People hate ads and skip the ads and you don't get paid shit.

The only time you should enable trueview is if you aren't a full partner and don't have access to enabling the preroll feature.

You seem like you have a lot of knowledge about this stuff.
One of my channels was recently offered $3 for ALL views (including mobile/etc) Its a fairly popular channel with 200,000 subs and gets about 100k views a day. Problem is, if I sign with this (well-known) network they want me to agree to stay with them for 3 years. Is this a decent offer?

No. And that CPM is too low. Negotiate to higher that CPM to 4 or 4.50 (try 4.50 first). and 3 years is way to long.

ign has good network they also offer a few things which i cant share and other networks can no where near match

I have been offered contracts with Fullscreen, Maker, TGN and Socialblade. A question, would be which one of these should i go with? All of these contracts are percantage contracts. Which one do have the best adsales team?

I need some help.

Thanks
Vincent

Usually i wouldn't recommend networks to anyone unless you are within the Los Angeles area and can really take advantage of any collaboration with bigger YouTubers and studio equipment etc but since you are a gaming channel then i would go solo. Now, by solo i'm assuming you are a fully branded partner by yourself, but if you are just a regular non branded partner and only have monetization without any branding features then yeah i would go with Maker Studios (TheGameStation) or Curse.

tgn are crap and there payouts are low just check there forums

Maker Studios = created by top YouTubers
Fullscreen = created by the guy who founded the YouTube Partner Program

You decide which one would get more ad buys from companies.

I would go with Maker before Fullscreen. Not to say Fullscreen is bad or anything but Maker is expanding into bigger things within and outside of YouTube. I would also assume that advertisers are paying Maker more. My second choice would definitely be Fullscreen.

Makers 70/30 split (where you keep 70%) is for YouTubers who are averaging more than 500,000 views per month. It is my understanding they help you with promotion and maybe give you access to their studios (if you live in LA). I believe most people they are partnering right now are under their 90/10 split and in a one year contract.

If your content consists of comedy sketches, music videos or anything else like that (basically not gaming/animation) then Maker is probably your best choice. Even if 70/30 split, the amount of resources you have access too (if you live within LA) can make up for that 30% or get pretty close. Besides, promotion alone will benefit you financially in the long run as well as subscribers increase, views, merchandise etc potentially increase too.
