NetFirms Scam?

Yesterday i did some research on some cheap domains, because i really didnt have any start up money, but i got paid around $25 form sharecash and some little ammounts form other websites to add upto around $43

so i wanted to spend as little money as possibly on a domain, So i saw someone here post their reccomendation of Netfirms and a coupon code that would make it $4.95, which is the cheapest i found.

So a little later, about 2:30am eastern time, i registered a domain with them.

After doing so i get the email with my login details, and i go to login and it says

Invalid account or wrong password. If you just created an account, please remember that it can take up to 10 minutes for your account to be created.

And yes, the login details are correct as far as i know, i copy and pasted, type it out, try everything to make sure i wasnted entering it wrong

i waited a little while, and i go to login again about 10 minutes later, and it still wouldnt...i just figured maybe it was a little slower than they say and i went to sleep.

It is now a little after 10:30am (est) and i went to login at 10 when i woke up, and its still giving me the same message

I called their toll free number and was put on hold for over 15 minutes before i hung up

I also cant submit a support ticket because you have to be logged in to do that, which is my problem

I also checked my paypal, just in case it didnt go through or anything, but it did, the money was taken out of my account.

Just wondering if anyone else has ever worked with them, this really sucks because i had to earn my startup money and honestly every cent i have counts

My first website in IM was with them, and still is because i'm too lazy to transfer off the data to the new host and I pay the yearly $70 They are not a scam and are actually pretty decent! Never had any problems with them, cept their load times are a bit slow at times.

im just really not liking their customer support at the moment....called back and still on hold :/

they should have more options

i just got off the phone with them and I guess the site just glitched and never activated my account...so yeah they just did it for me and im able to login now

Have around 200 domains there for years. I am happy with them (of course there were some minor issues. But they were all solved)

OP, it is not important if you can submit ticket or not. Email them directly using these addresses. I am sure they will answer.

Then please slow down before publicly declaring a company as scammer.

You have said all the bad comments about them and now guess what?

Mate, pity on you.

I have been buying domains with them with the coupon code since March. Have over 50 domains with them and so far no problems ...

In fact, for the price, I consider them to be the best in the business ...
