We always recommend to newbies starting with offers with lower payouts and easier flow. Maybe some offers will sound too attractive to be true, and that is probably what they are. You will just lose money and time.
Another thing is to test an offer and choose wisely the number of campaigns you will run, as a high number of campaigns will get you just problems. You will not be able to track the behavior of the campaign and see the mistakes you are potentially making. To take conversion rates higher, you need to see what has to be fixed.
On the other hand, you have to give the campaign the time, at least seven days trial period. Then, you will know what you have to optimize and make it more cost-effective than it is. Measuring the campaign ctr, cr, spent, etc., will give you an insight into the campaign's performance.
And if the specific GEO does not work for you, just retarget, and you will find what works for your campaign/offer. Good luck!
