Hi, I need suggestion out of two hosting service which is the best? dreamhost or hostgator?

I find hostgator is cheap than dream host but i found a couponcode of dream host which save me $60 and also giving host unlimited everything(Storage, Bandwidth, Domains), by that Saving code i'm thinking to go with dream host, wat you say?

Trust me when I tell you that Dream Host is far and away the worst host ever. You will have a ridiculous amount of downtime and when your sites are up they will load slow as hell. I've used Host Gator in the past and never had a problem with them, good uptime and good customer service. I wouldn't use Dream Host if it was free. Just my 2 cents.

Haven't used dreamhost before, but I have quite good experience with Hostgator.
They are affordable, good uptime, support is responding fast and friendly.

    Cheers

Go for Hostgator. I too have good experience with them. They have many coupons, just google for one. You may find what you were looking for.

Every hosting company claims that or close to it, but Dream Host is down constantly. They way oversell their boxes so they run slow as hell. They even sent me an email that I was using too many resources and I was only hosting a low traffic Wordpress blog. Trust me when I tell you they are garbage. Host Gator is not my favorite but they are light years ahead of Dream Host, and when you need a tech you can actually reach one 24/7.

Use them both... Hostgator is faster, has better interface and better customer service.

I could claim 100% uptime hosting your website on a chicken sandwich, but it wouldn't necessarily be true :)

If you have high traffic websites that are eating up tons of resources constantly that is one thing, but for most sites hostgator or many of the other budget type hosting sites work just fine. I've used hostgator in the past and had no problems.

Anecdotally I have heard people speak bad about Dreamhost many times, but never really with Hostgator.

    Hostgator is very good.
Look around for the 1 cent coupon.

I'm suggesting you hostgator. I'm using them for over 1 year and support is great (I mean... they solve your problems).

I use Dreamhost for a very long time, and I will probably move soon...
It became so slow, I can't even load a simple html page without waiting 5 seconds...

I am using dreamhost as well now for 3 years used to be happy with them but not anymore. the hosting became slower the support slower i just contacted them and it been 2 days and i didn't got mail back. their support are really bad and always been bad.
Last month they got their hosting hack or something and they deleted all user passwords. they have a lot of download those days as well.
I don't know about hostgator but don't use dreamhost.
