Hi friends i started my photography blog 1 week ago and when ever i post any update it get index after 2-3 days later :( dont know what to do, second after this penguin update which is the best white hat seo technique because i am having big plan for this website to make it authority and third how can i drive more traffic to my blog as it photography website?

first things first you need your alt tags in place! Then I would start embedding your images on a content network.

Use alt tags properly, Add little content along with image, Embedding will also help you rank better

using proper alt tag i heard from my friends that photo blog not get so much of visit is it true

Dude if you are in a major city, you had better get ready for the largest challenge for the least return you can find. Why am I so sure? I know people with MASSIVE campaigns for social networks of REAL people liking and linking back to every article on their page...photographers tap social vanity and that is viral in itself...just not massively viral per instance. What does this mean for you?

1. get out of photography, very very very few make it even barely
2. if you decide to stay your going to need REAL backlinks and a 5 year old huge social network behind you
3. just pay adwords if you must stay. For ~400 a month you can get a low hundred-ish browsers to your site for a specific long tail such as "Seattle wedding photographers"

Make sure to run a Traffic Travis prior to starting anything major, see just how large a job your getting yourself into.

Again this is only for a MAJOR city. If you are in a smaller market you could be the big dog! Just make sure to check demographics/weddings per year/birth stats in your area with the BLS stats. Get and use TT at any rate, it is just a great free tool :)

t i have seen lots of travel blog is also making huge amount of money and even get millions of view in a week then why its hard

Rank on a type of photography, not photography itself. There are way too many image providers with deep pockets that will keep you out of the game than in it. I would say you are getting into something that will likely end up in years of hard work with little to show for it so you better have a damn good edge before you start. Also you are a bit too late to the game unless you have something truly outstanding.

trying to rank for "photography" keyword is more difficult than rank for keyword "facebook" lol

photography exists for at least 100 years after all :)

Use best meta data , keyword more near about competitor and properly image tagging then start FLD,PDF,SB submission, all should be do follow .

I would rather see you getting a first spot rank for like "custom poodle hair coloring extensions" and making decent money rather then tossing hundreds of hours into photography...that ones already baked and eaten.

t if i am targeting long tail keyword i dnt want to rank for photography i want to rank for travel n photography blog

Well grab traffic Travis and get started then. No need to wait for tomorrow.....or 3 years from now.
