Need help with affiliate marketing for my website

So I am offering a Social Media Service and looking to drive more clients and wanting to setup an affiliate program but don't know how to get started and what is fair to offer. I was thinking around $30 per sale is what I would pay out, but I have no idea how to track all that.

I have google analytics all setup, google ads running but with the affiliates what is the best way to get started?

Thank you for the insights, do you have any recommendations on how to set it up on my end so tracking works for both parties? I offer IG growth services...not sure if that matters or not...right now I am running Google Ads and in 48 hours already drove 3 new paying clients to my site which is great and I know it's far cheaper than any affiliate cost but I want as many avenues of new customers as possible.

I would look in the market place for a programmer to do your task of finding a way to track affiliate performance. Here's the idea in a gist:

Every affiliate you bring on board is assigned a unique ID. It can be simple as a number. Now, you'll want to give them a specific link they can use to get credit for the sale of your social media services.

For example, let's say your sales page was

www.socialmediaexperts.com/sales-page

you want to tack on a different parameter that identifies your affiliate. So for one it might look like this:

www.socialmediaexperts.com/sales-page?id=2324

When a potential client purchases your services through that link, you give whoever "2324" was credit and commission.

This is a simplified version but it's what I would do if you asked me to build it.

Wordpress has plugins for affiliate management or use opencart which has a built in aff system. I use opencart on a few projects and the aff system works easy. Free solutions abound.

Do you use any CMS for your website? If so, it might have an affiliate plugin, that lets you set up your affiliate rules "infrastructure".

If you do not have a CMS, there are third-party affiliate networks where you can join as a vendor, so they will do the heavy lifting of tracking and monitoring traffic, sales and commissions. They do this for a percentage of your sales, so you don't have to worry about developing one from scratch, where you have to factor it cookies, trackings, etc.
