Need help with adsense position

Hello all,

I'm not sure if this is right place to open thread.
So this is my issue:
My website got approved for adsense for about 1+ month and it's all good, but only problem is position where ads appear. Sometimes ads appear on navigation bar and sometimes under navigation bar and it ruins design of website and also ads are not fully visible because they are showing under some elements of site.

Anyone can help me if it's possible for example to show ads exactly where I want to show (left or right side on website) ?
