Need help understanding Proxies?

So I've been running Instagram bots for the past two years now without any trouble. Running about 11 accounts in the morning and 11 at night. I don't know how I managed to run all of these accounts for two years without getting banned or ghosted but... DUN DUN DUN! The day finally came today. I added one more account to the mix and now all of my accounts are ghosted. Meaning that they aren't liking and following anymore.

I'm pretty sure it's going to return to normal in a couple of days but now I'm taking precautions to prevent this from happening again. Anyways, I've been researching proxies and there's so much information on them, I don't know where to start. Here's what I do know right now... that I need a Virgin Dedicated Private Proxy (1 per 5 accounts) in order to keep my business running. I'm making money using these bots, sending them to affiliate offers. Am I heading in the right direction? I also heard that I could get an RDSL Proxy.

I'm just so confused with all the lingo and would rather talk to somebody who has done this before and mastered the process. What are the best sources to get proxies from that are untampered and private for Instagram Bots at an affordable price?

To understand what a proxy is think about this:

You want to buy some beer but you're a minor so you ask your dad to buy a beer for you.

In this example your dad acts as your proxy, it's really you buying the beer even if the guys from the shop see your dad.


As for what types of proxies you need it varies wildly upon your needs.

For your specific use case -- a limited ammount of accounts that need to pass as real quality accounts, it's almoast always better to get Private proxies.

Try to stay clear of proxies that are marketed as semi-dedicated / semi-private / shared / rotating / etc...

The amount of accounts per proxy you can use varies also this is something you should be testing.

As for the source of buying your proxies... there are a few good ones here on bhw. I don't have much need for proxies lately but i did have a subscription at reverseproxies ( http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...t-elite-private-dedicated-shared-proxies.html ) if you do go with them, just make sure to get the private ones, not shared.

So is it true that I would need virgin IP's? Or do you think private proxies are good enough just by itself?

It usually depends on whether they have been banned before on the service you're trying to use them at.

Virgin IPs are mostly a myth nowadays . Most companies have expiring bans so private proxies should be good enough

In simple get Dedicated private proxies from the provider that does support Social media.

And many who are the oldest are the best instead new comers cause they are not much aware of it's difficulties.

I have noticed when it comes to discussing proxies on BHW the most help you will get is sellers asking you to purchase from them. In fact in the past, I have purchased even a popular services and even they are "willing" to help, only about so much.

As far as social media Proxies, I found out you need private dedicated "social media" proxies. Even that gets rather specific so be sure to mention that you need instagram Proxies. The older the seller the more likely they are reputable.

Hey xbryboy, I'm going to send you a more detailed PM but for everyone reading this: if you want to play it safe, use 1 proxy per account.

Just think about it. Is it normal to have 5 accounts on 1 IP? Maybe, in certain households.. but if you want to do it naturally just stick to 1 proxy per account. No way that can go wrong. Be active at 'regular' hours and behave like a human.

Just think like Instagram and behave like a human. If you try to push your luck, you're going to get burned and will be back at square one. So it's better to spend more money on proxies and time on the right setup than try to cut corners. You will get caught. They have whole teams dedicated to sniffing out suspicious behaviour.

Don't try and outsmart them, you'll lose. Just (have your bot) act normal!
