2] There are a lot of methods to monetize blogs such as adsense, CPA offers, surverys, PPL offers, etc. Surf the forum, you will find a lot more.
3] A great content is essential for ranking and running a successful blog. So, if your content is great, your site would get noticed. However, it requires some initial efforts to rank the blog; like quality back-links, on page SEO, etc. Again, surf the forum for more great info

You can use all free to share images from google that is relavent to your content and set image link and alt text to your image. Back-links also very important to the site.

Chances are there are free ones if you research a bit. It's not soon to lock part of your content if you have an extremely valuable thing to exchange.

The first thing you need to do is start blogging consistently, please select a niche and blog about things related to it, dont think about monetizing so early build up your following and that aspect will come.
