    Hello,

I have a personal blog made about two days ago (Domain + Hosting + Wordpress). I am planning to generate an income in the future, but would like to get an email list for the meantime.

Question #1: Is there a plugin to use on when I post something, readers can read half of its content and would need to enter their email or some sort of action (Facebook like, google+ share or like, etc.) to enable reading all the way through?

Question #2: Is there a current method/s to monetize my personal site/blog even though it's new? I am using "Namecheap" for both Domain + Hosting of my blog.

Question #3: I am currently learning to be a great writer (Starts reading books, self-teaching proper grammar through YouTube, etc.) would my site get noticed? Is it too soon to do Question #1 if ever there is a way to do it?

    Thank you!

1] yes it's too soon for that kind of action. Collecting emails in such a way requires a nice image on the internet! However, you can always put a simple opt in box on your blog to collect emails
2] There are a lot of methods to monetize blogs such as adsense, CPA offers, surverys, PPL offers, etc. Surf the forum, you will find a lot more.
3] A great content is essential for ranking and running a successful blog. So, if your content is great, your site would get noticed. However, it requires some initial efforts to rank the blog; like quality back-links, on page SEO, etc. Again, surf the forum for more great info ;)

    Cheers

Thank you for your reply, HoneyHelper.

What do you mean by "Collecting emails in such a way requires a nice image on the internet!"? My blog doesn't have images on them, just purely writing. Shall I start posting some relevant ones? Where can I get HQ images that is allowed
even without linking the image back to the site where I took it from?

Ah, I guess I have to learn those things before I could monetize my blog. Any recommendation for newbies that is easy to follow along from all the ones you have said?

I believe my content is average or a little above average. I guess I still need to learn about
back-links, on page SEO, etc. Will surf the forums to learn them. Thank you so much.

You can use all free to share images from google that is relavent to your content and set image link and alt text to your image. Back-links also very important to the site.

Answer 1: There is. The one I know of is called SocialLocker and it allows you to lock content in exchange for social share. It's not free though, although there's a 1 week trial. Chances are there are free ones if you research a bit. It's not soon to lock part of your content if you have an extremely valuable thing to exchange.

Answer 2: There are plenty of methods as HoneyHelper said. Since you're trying to build a list, affiliate offers might suit your monetization strategy the most.

Answer 3: You just need to go extra mile with your content and explain everything in plain details so you're readers will get tons of value. That's how you'll keep your readers on your site and make them coming for more.

The first thing you need to do is start blogging consistently, please select a niche and blog about things related to it, dont think about monetizing so early build up your following and that aspect will come.

    1) Yes, I don't remember the names but I think there are plenty of plugins which do that.
    2) It can be monetized, but I would suggest you to build your content up first to have a stronger start.
    3) You're doing the right thing here, and you're saving yourself from spending money on buying articles. That's a good start, you should keep doing that. It might not make your site get noticed by its own, but it's a great way to establish some ground.
