Need Help/suggestion.. switching to custom domain from blogspot.com

I have a blog at blogspot.com, it is my money page.. i made it 2 years back and i am making $200/month from it. now i thought of moving it to a custom domain name for SEO purpose (& applying to CPA Network.. two birds with 1 arrow :p), this is what they say...

Domains are registered through a Google partner and cost $10 (USD) for one year. As part of registration, you will also get a [URL="http://www.google.com/a/?hl=en"]Google Apps[/URL] account for your new domain.
I am planning to buy domain from them, it says $10 for year, but i don't see any details about hosting.
Can somebody tell me if i purchase domain from them do i still get hosting from them or I have to get hosting for myself. ( I feel dizzy thinking about hosting and name server etc... I am totally non-techie)

Anyone..... Someone of you must have bought domain from blogger.. please provide some info.
 
you will keep you blog in there the same way. and google apps is free, even name.com offers you google apps when you register a domain trough them. what google does is kinda like what WP.com does, you buy the domain and they redirect it to your WP.com blog. but i guess you would be better mailing blogger support and asking those questions than coming to this forum.
 
I just thought someone here would have done something similar... so I asked here, am sure there would be many people who have experienced something,
I am sure someone will come up.

and im sure that if you contacted their support service or whatever blogger have you should've already had an answer by now...:rolleyes:
 
OK I have found the answer. Blogger host the blog if we buy domain from them.

Click there and you can use a cheaper domain from godaddy, namecheap, or wherever else.
